Are They Ready For This?

Missouri Ozarks

Sam was trying to follow the instructions Tom was trying to give him when he slammed on the brakes and turned to Tom and said, "Man, where are you taking us? I have lived in this area all my life and these roads don't look as if anyone has been down them in years."
"I'm just telling you what this map shows," explained Tom with a shrug. "I can't help it if it's out in the middle of nowhere. Caves aren't usually in the middle of a town, ya know."
"Sorry, it just seems as though we've been driving for hours and not getting anywhere close."
"If I'm reading this map correctly, we should be coming upon a slight incline then we should see the opening," Tom said.
Bud put his head between the two men and said, "This might be the best place in the world to hide because nobody would know this place even exists."
All of a sudden the entrance was right in front of them. Sam parked the car and the men got out to explore the cave. Just inside the entrance was a huge open room with two passageways leading away from the room. Kerri and Bud decided to take one passageway and Tom and Sam the other. "I brought some walkie talkies in case we find something to report. Let's check in with each other every ten minutes so we don't lose track of one another," Sam instructed.
Flashlights in hand, they set out to find whatever the pastor had left for them. Sam and Tom had to bend down and almost crawl through the small space then they came upon a pool of water then made their way passed it until they came upon another large room. In one corner was stacked several large boxes and plastic containers. Each one was carefully labeled showing the contents.....blankets, towels, canned goods, lanterns, pots and pans, dishes and silverware, medical supplies, freezed dried fruit, and water purifying supplies. Stacked beside the boxes were 20 cots, two large folding tables, and three camping stoves.
Tom looked at Sam and said, "They thought of about everything, didn't they?"
"Looks like it. Plus the things Mom left for us at the house. We should be ok for a long time."
The walkie talkie was chattering, "Sam, can you hear me?"
"Yes, you're coming in loud and clear. You have to release the button to hear my reply."
Kerri sounded really excited, "You won't believe what we found."
"Ok, let's meet back in the main room and go over what we've each found," said Sam.
The four men almost ran into each other entering the main room. Bud had a huge smile on his face, "You wouldn't believe all the food and supplies we found. There are even small rooms that look like individual bedrooms. It's amazing.....I just can't believe they thought to do all of this," Bud was talking so fast he had to stop and catch his breath.
"We found the same and a pool of water along with purifying supplies so we will have water. You are right, it's amazing and it took a lot of work to do all of this. God was guiding Pastor James in order to get all of this accomplished."
Tom had tears in his eyes and looked at each of the men and said, "I am overwhelmed at the amount of love these people had for those of us they knew wouldn't be taken in the rapture, yet they wanted us to find this place, but more than that, they wanted us to find Jesus. They were true examples of how Jesus wants all of us to be......love one another. You think you are a good person and do the right things, but that isn't enough. You have to love with a clean heart and allow Jesus to live inside your heart. What some people were living was a complete lie, but the people who prepared this place had the Holy Spirit living in them."
Sam patted Tom on the back, "Tom, none of us were bad people, but we didn't have Jesus and that's why we are here now. Our loved ones didn't want us to be seperated from God so they are ministering to us now and showing us how to live our lives for Jesus. We have been given the tools to survive until Jesus comes again and we have also been given a job to do. Like Bud said, we are now in God's army."
"Yeah, and we are going to be good soldiers," chimed in Bud showing his toothy grin.
"Think it's time we head back to the house," Sam said.
Bud said, "I'm starved, too."
The four got in the car and headed back to the house. They had so much to share with the women. It had been a good day.

Daniel, Joe (Operation Officer), Ben (Weapons Officer) were setting in Daniel stateroom discussing the procedures for launching a nuke missile. Depending on the time of launch and the impact target area, they wanted a fast escape plan once the birds were in flight.

“Based on out location, if we launch one bird the best time would be at sunset. Anyone east of our location would have to fight the sun to see the launch. After five seconds all bets are off.” Ben stated.
“OK, if they give us a open time frame to launch, we will set to launch at 05:30 give or take a minute. Once target it hit, all hell will break loose and every nation will be looking for anyone with nukes to blame. We all know that most of the world will blames us or the USA upfront. Starting now I want as much Intel as possible what navy is in the gulf at any given time. We might have to fight our way out and I want to know who we are going against.” Daniel added.
“On it, I think our course into our present location was a good one but again, once we light up whereever it maybe, all bets are off,” Joe replied.
“This might seem strange but I sometimes play sub hunting games on my computer. I have found that hiding under a ship works great as long as whoever is looking for you doesn't want to destroy every vessel in sight.” Ben said jokingly
“Good point, which is one of the escape measures they teach in sub op school. Problem is we need a merchant ship close by after we launch.” Joe answered back
“Add big ships to your list of daily locations, if we need to we can leap frog them as we swim out.” Daniel replied. “If or when we get this message, I will announce to the crew one hour prior to setting launch quarters. I want our troops to have time to pray as well as write a letter home if they want but I don’t want anyone who might get cold feet time to play a sabotage mission.”
Both men agreed. And the three of them continued going over each launch task and evading procedure. It was 19:48 when Daniel received word that another Red Bird Message was in and being sent to his stateroom. Daniel sent both his Operation and Weapon officers out while he read the message.
RED BIRD TOP SECRET
0945355 1224035408
From: Chief of General Staff
To: Samuel of Ramah
On 12252008 at 0001 the Samuel of Ramah will execute Blue Sword x 2.
Upon completion of task, you are authorized to use any task, maneuver and or weapons as needed to ensure ship and crew safety. At no time will any Officer or crew member let vessel be detained, boarded or captured. Vessel is to be destroyed if need be.
No contact with any other vessel or person from this point.
On 01152009 at 0001 Samuel of Ramah will make contact with Chief of General Staff for furter orders.
No other orders will precede these.
Code: XX697-A1-RB-34-34S1
End of message

Daniel sat the message down then lowered his head and prayed. Even with training, and knowing what is right from wrong, when it comes right down to it, a person just can’t imagine pushing a button that will in minutes or seconds kill millions of people.

After a few minutes, he pushed back his chair then went to the door and invited the two men back into his room. They saw the look on his face and by what they have been discussing they too began to have heavy hearts.

What will become of their homes, their families and their country? Will they onboard be hunted down like animals and killed quickly or will they be displayed for the entire world to see. Compared to Hitler many will say and demand they be killed by the worst possible way. Many will want to force all Israel to be rounded up and sent to camps like their mothers and fathers were. Children will be beaten, killed and mocked for what the crew of the Samuel of Ramah did.

With a tear in his eye, Daniel pushed a button and asks that the Navigator and Cheng come to his stateroom. Not a word was said as they waited, each man thoughts were on his family, his country and his shipmates. As the two new guest sat down, they sensed real quickly that all was not well and soon the briefing like no others began.

Brother Aaron finished his breakfast in the main hall with everyone else and then ascended to the podium for his spiritual class. " I know some of you are still eating, but if you all could open your bibles this morning to Galatians chapter 2 verse 16 I want to speak with you this morning on faith. Listen to what the word says. 16: Know that a man is not justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So, we too, have put our faith in Jesus Christ that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by observing the law, because by observing the law no one will be justified." Brother Aaron closed his bible and looked out into the main hall. "You see, faith has 2 main aspects. Number one is that it is true knowledge about God and Christ, with an unshakeable conviction that what God has revealed about Him and about us is true. Such faith is necessary, but not sufficient, for salvation, for even devils believe truths about God. Number two, Faith also involves trusting in God and being assured deep down that by His grace we are made right with God because of Christ, that what Christ has accomplished applies to us. Faith is centered in Jesus Christ and what He has done, as each one of us is called to make a personal confession of faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. True faith comes as a gift from God when we hear His word, and it naturally leads to a life of loving service to Him. When the Holy Spirit comes to live in us we recieve gifts, but far more important than the gifts of the spirit is the fruit of the spirit. First on the list is Love, a christian virtue mentioned more often in the bible than any other. Love is more excellent than any single gift. Gifts will eventually disappear, but love last forever.

Now Grace is God's life-tranforming gift of His favor to those who do not deserve it. The gift of salvation and forgiveness of sins is available for all who through faith accept His grace revealed in Jesus Christ, but so many miss the gift because they rely on themselves and try to earn grace by keeping the law. God's grace also supplies us with everything we need for daily life, and to that end he invites us to come to Him with our needs. Even more so now that the church has gone home we need to study to show ourselves approved. Our time is short and we all need the faith that our brothers and sisters now in Heaven had their whole lives. Lets pray before we head out for the day. Father, we thank you for this day and all that we will accomplish in your name. Let your words minister to each of us and bring us back together this evening for our evening devotions. In Jesus name, amen." See you all tonight. Tonights study will be on Spiritual warfare. Bring your pen and pads to take notes. God bless you all. Have a good day.

Sam's House in the Missouri Ozarks

The men had been gone a couple of hours. Shannon had been working on the computer, Linda was doing laundry and some housework while Christina sat in the sunroom reading one of the books Sam had brought back from the pastor's house. Christina loved her Mother dearly, but she had long ago formed the habit of cleaning to block out whatever was happening around her. The things they had seen and heard at the camp were still lingering in their minds. It also brought back the memory of her dad and how it was her fault he had killed himself. She just could never quite keep her thoughts to herself until that happened. In high school she didn't date and it wasn't because she wasn't asked out or she wasn't attractive, she just didn't care to be around men. A lot of the boys in her classes were attracted to her and told her she was beautiful and still she had a fear she would choose someone like her father. Her mother had warned her to be careful to pick the right type of man and to be smarter than she was. The good looking, smart guys aren't always the best picks. There was a young man in her Sunday school class that she liked, but he turned out to be someone who was even worse than her father. It was difficult to find anyone she could trust. She looked out the window and saw Sam's car pull into the drive. He seemed like such a nice man, good looking, smart, and he seemed to be a genuine Christian. Time will tell if he is real. She watched as the men walked towards the house and she realized she was actually studying Sam then she felt her face go red.
Kerri walked over to Shannon to give her a peck on the cheek. He was telling her about all the things they had found in the cave and how it would be the perfect place to go if they needed to hide. Bud was excited about the prospects of setting up shop and making the cave secure......they all seemed to be talking at once. Linda and Christina joined the group and they began to offer suggestions how to set up a compound at the cave. Sam put his hand up to try to get everyone to slow down a bit...."guys listen, we need to be making notes and plan this out....you know we have to do this now while we still are safe to move around."
Shannon said, "I will make an inventory of what we can take from here and you guys can get an inventory of what's at the cave then we will know if we need to add anything else. I found a survival guide in some of the files on the computer plus on raptureready.com I found a lot of information and timelines like the pastor has in his notes. The website was bookmarked on the computer so Pastor James was also reading and getting some infomation from it."
"Let's decide who has a talent for what and go from there. God gave us all special gifts so let's get this all figured out so we can get this project started," said Sam.
Bud perked up, "I'm ready to do whatever God needs me to do."
"Right now I'm going to take a break and read the Bible for a while, if I'm going to lead the Bible studies, I need to study," Sam told them. "We'll get a few things done and after dinner we will have a time of fellowship with the Lord. How does that sound to everyone?"
Everyone nodded in agreement. Christina went back to the sunroom to read, but she was still thinking about how well Sam was leading the group. Maybe they could eventually be friends.

On the Ranch

Shade and Matt were feeding the cattle when they made the grisly discovery.
"Who is it?" Matt asked his dad, his eyes wide with horror.
"I don't know son." Shade looked at Matt. "Go back to the house. Send Trevor out to help me."
Matt nodded and got on the atv and headed to the house.
Shade looked around, hoping for a clue to the persons identity. There wasn't much left to identify. Shade began to follow the trail of blood and came to a stop when he saw the bear print. He went back to his atv and grabbed his shotgun and started following the trail again when he looked over his shoulder to see Trevor pulling up. Trevor sat on the atv and surveyed the scene. Shade walked back to Trevor and shook his head.
"What happened?" Trevo asked.
"Bear." Shade answered. "I found a paw print about fifty yards that way." he indicated with a jerk of his head.
Trevor nodded and grabbed the rifle off the side of his atv and began to follow Shade.
"I was praying that it had moved on." Shade said. "Apparently I was wrong."
The men continued to follow the trail when Trevor noticed the sun glint off something metal. He pointed and he and Shade walked toward it.
"That's Antony's car." Shade said. He took off at a run back to the atv with Trevor on his heals.
"Surely Earl and his buddies wouldn't come out here. They have to know we know." Trevor said.
Both men raced back to the house and rushed inside. They grabbed Matt, Nathan and Maddie and told them what they had found.
"Matt, Nathan. I want both of you carrying. You keep an eye on things. If Earl or Leon show up, fire a warning shot. If they keep coming, shoot to kill." Shade said. "They've obviously been staking out the house. I have a feeling they want Kristen. Tori could also be in danger."
With their jaws set Matt and Nathan both went to the gun safe.
"Let's go." Shade said to Trevor.
"Where are you going?" Maddie asked.
"To give Earl one last warnng." Shade said grimly.

He decided to walk towards the Wailing Wall. The air was fresh with the scent of flowers as he walked through the market place lined with people selling their wares. Fresh fruit, vegetables, homemade breads, cakes, and fresh fish seemed to be the main items of the day. As he walked he wondered if Ester was somewhere in this crowd doing her shopping. The people seemed unaware of the world he had just left behind as they went about their business. These people were use to chaos in their lives and had learned to live with it so that not much phased them anymore, including Damascus. Reaching the Wailing wall he walked among the many jewish men praying at the wall. Memories of his parents stories filled his mind as he touched the walls running his fingers across the rough rocks feeling the many cracks and crevices. He was in awe of the wall which he had only seen in textbooks as his parents had schooled him so many years ago. Small pieces of paper could be seen sticking out of the cracks. They were prayers that had been placed there from all over the world. He could feel the presence of the Lord as he pulled up a chair to sit before the wall. The wall itself was a humbling experience for him knowing it was a part of the original temple. He knew he would be an eye witness to the building of the third temple now that he had been relocated to Isreal. But until that time he would spend many days here at the wall reflecting on past history and the future ahead.

Yoshi, Ester and the Rabbi sat together on the back porch watching the sun sink behind the trees. The air was cool and fresh as a gentle breeze blew softly against them. Yoshi noticed the Rabbi had a happy glow about him this evening. "Did you have a good day Rabbi?" he asked him. The Rabbi smiled brightly. "Indeed I did. But the best part was just an hour ago. I was able to connect to the compound and spoke with all the followers at the compound while they had their breakfast. They were as happy to see me as I was them." he smiled. "You miss them alot dont you?" Ester asked. "Yes I do, but I know the plans the Lord has for them and the compound. Many of them will leave but the Lord has made a way for many more to come and be trained up, so I will still be working with Brother Aaron from here, and I will meet the new folks who come also." he answered. "Thats so exciting Rabbi." Yoshi added. "Yes it is, and I'm praying many here in Isreal and around the world will find the webpage and turn their lives to the savoir." he replied."Thats an awesome vision Rabbi. Only the Lord could have shown you this and inspired you to see the world in His plan."Ester told him. "I know." smiled the Rabbi.

Jonathans mind was wondering as Kevin sat there waiting for his answer. All he could think about was Bridget and how Jesus had turned her life around since the disappearances. She had changed so much over the last 2 weeks. All for the better. She seemed gentler and kinder. Thinking of her becoming a mother was another wonderful thought. If all these christians were telling the truth about the future he would have only a few years to enjoy being a father and teaching them the truth. He started to cry harder as the Lord touched his heart. "Yes, Yes."he sobbed "I want Jesus in my life." he choked. Kevin put his arms around him. "Lets pray together." he said. Both knelt and Kevin led him in the sinners prayer. Jonathan felt the love of Christ wash over him as his sins were washed away. Kevin removed the handcuffs and shackles as everyone on the bus cheered and clapped for Jonathan. Kevin didnt know how Peter and Daniel were doing in their buses but the rest of this ride was going to be a blessing and celebration.

Daniel and Peter had pulled over a mile ahead of Kevin when the girls had called on the walkie talkie to let them know they had stopped. "Just wait for us until we figure out why Kevin pulled off, ok?" Abby asked. "Ok, will do." replied Peter.

Daniel pulled in behind Peter and put the bus in park. "Anyone who feels the need to stretch their legs, now would be a good time." he said as he turned to look towards the back of the bus.The agent remained shackled and hand cuffed to the bar attached to the side of the seat. His eyes glared at Daniel as they made eye contact. "These %$#@ christians seemed to be crawling out of the woodwork like roaches since the disappearances." he thought to himself. His face turned to rage as he stared into Daniels eyes. "What the &*%$ are you staring at?" he asked Daniel. Daniel said nothing as he turned around in his seat and began to pray for the man. "Lord you know this mans heart and what has brought him to this point in his life. I ask for you to show me how to minister to this man and show him the truth. I ask for your devine protection to be set upon this man to protect him from the evil that is trying to take over him. I plead the blood of Jesus over this bus and all on board and pray that you would bring us safely to our destination. I ask these things in your sons holy name. Amen. He turned to look back at the man again. The man had taken something out of his shirt pocket while handcuffed and was busy trying to pick the lock on the cuffs. Grabbing the extra set of cuffs and the chloroform cloth Daniel headed to the back of the bus. Placing it in the mans face he listened to the curse words spewing out of his mouth just before he slumped over. Daniel uncuffed one hand and recuffed it to the bar as he pulled the mans arm over to the other bar and recuffed him to that side. Without the two hands together he wouldnt be able to attempt to pick the lock again. Daniel just shook his head, feeling sad for the man. "Lord, please help this man." he said as he walked back to the drivers seat and sat down to wait.

It appeared the agent on Peters bus had still not come to. Peter sat waiting to hear from Abby on what had happened a mile back. Some of the passengers were outside the bus fellowshipping and drinking in the night air. Others lay with their seats back sleeping. "Peter, can you hear me?" asked Abby. Loud and clear Abby, whats up? he asked. Kevin is rolling again and we are right behind him." she told him. "Why did he pull over?" he asked. "He didnt say, except he said he now had 100% followers on board." she laughed. "Ok, well theres a sign a few fet in front of me that says Rest Area 5 miles. Why dont we all pull in their and regroup?" he said to Abby. "Ok, we're right behind you." she said.

Keyes, Oklahoma

Leon woke up and immediately began looking for a fix. He had smoked everything he had yesterday. He decided to go over to Antony's to see if he had anything. The drive to Antony's house was torture. Leon was beginning to feel sick. His skin itched something fierce, his head swam, and he had to stop to vomit. His hands trembling, he pulled up in front of Antony's house and with shaky legs walked to the door and knocked. After several minutes of banging on the door he walked around back. His face soaked in sweat, he saw that Antony's car was gone.
"Maybe he went to Earls." Leon said to himself.
As he drove to Earl's house his mind wandered to the day after the disappearences. He had known what had happened. His momma had warned him to straighten up and follow the Lord. But Leon had chosen to follow the world. When he had called his momma's house after the disappearances there had been no answer. He had cried himself to sleep, and when he woke up he had gotten stoned and stayed that way.
He drove up to Earl's house and saw that the front door was open,. Walking inside he walked immediately to the coffee table and pulled out the secret drawer. Inside he found everything he needed. He loaded the needle and found a vein. As he shot up, he heard a car pull into the driveway.

Shade and Trevor got out of the pickup and noticed that the front door of the house was open. Shade nodded toward the garage, "Earl's cars gone. That one is Leon's" he pointed to the car parked on the street. They walked to the door and Shade looked inside the open door. He saw Leon sitting on the floor his head lolled to the side. Trevor pushed past Shade and walked up to the man. He reached down and checked for a pulse. "He's alive." He looked and saw the needle hanging out of Leon's arm. He removed the needle and looked for a trash can while Shade looked through the house for Earl.
Shade found Earl's bedroom and noticed all the drawers standing open and the closet was empty. He walked back to the living room and saw Trevor standing over Leon. "Earl must have cleared out. His clothes are gone. Looks like he left hurry."
"Is this Leon?" Trevor asked Shade.
"Yeah." Shade walked over to the man and gave him a nudge with his foot. Leon fell over on his side on the floor, and Shade looked at Trevor with one brow raised. "He's stoned out of his gord. From the looks and smell of him, he's been that way for days."
Shade gave Leon another nudge with his foot. "Leon. Wake up!!"
Leon let out a moan and mumbled something under his breath.
Trevor hunched down next to the man, and gave him pinch. "Leon!!"
"Ummff." was the only response he got.
Shade walked into the kitchen and grabbed a pitcher or water out of the fridge. He walked back in the living room and motioned for Trevor to move. When Trevor was out of the way, he dumped the contents on Leon.
"Ummfff." Leon responded and rolled his head to the side. That was the only acknowlegement to the dousing.
Trevor looked at Shade. "I don't know how much he did, but it's gonna take awhile for him to come around. He walked over to the door and closed it. He sat on a chair and watched as Shade grabbed Leon by the feet and dragged him from out in front of the couch.
