Everyone began to arrive at the main hall. New arrivals came in looking around at all the welcome signs that had been placed all around the room. There was happy chatter and mingling going on as they all made their way to the buffet table that was lined with steaming platters and bowls of food. Each filling their plates, everyone found a seat and a new friend. Brother Aaron made his way to the podium, followed by Kevin, Peter and Daniel. Brother Aaron bowed his head and a hush fell over the room as they waited for the blessing. "Father in the name of Jesus I welcome the new arrivals. May your peace be with each of them as they learn their place in your kingdom. Thank you for this food Lord and may it bless and nourish each one of us tonight. Amen" Kevin stepped forward next and as he did the new arrivals rose to their feet and gave him a standing ovation. A man near the front raised his hand asking to speak. "I can never thank you enough for putting yourself at risk to rescue all of us. I dont know where we would be today if you hadnt." he said. Kevin smiled at the man and raised his hand to quite the group. " All the glory for your safety goes to Him who sent us. It is what He called us to do and we were obedient. As you all adjust to the lifestyle here at the compound you will be prepared in many ways to survive if the Lord wills and to become His warriors during the tribulation, which prophetically isnt too far off. Tonight we will show whats happening in Isreal on these large screens. You will see prophecy being fulfilled before your eyes and afterwords we will have a question and answer time to help you learn His word and be able to study it for yourselves. Could someone dim the lights as Brother Aaron brings up the live feed on the screens?'' As the lights dimmed everyone continued to eat as they watched. Bombs were bursting in air never making their intended targets. Some fell back to the ground, from where they had come, killing the enemy. Isreal had not responded. The hand of God was protecting them just as a parent would protect a child. Not one civilian or building had been damaged, yet the carnage surrounding the little state had many fatalities. The shock and awe was overwhelming to the new arrivals as they watched. Fire was all around Isreal, yet not one ember dared to cross the border. Buildings crumbled to the ground as the fires ran out of food and people could be heard screaming as death took them. The new arrivals had tears running down their cheeks as most of them realized these people had died never believing in the Lord Jesus and were now lost forever. The sound of whispered prayers could be heard throughout the hall as they continued to watch the scene unfold.

Inside this mental facility ... the staff has been overwhelmed with manic patients all struggling to cope. Their initial reactions have been to simply drug the new residents. Lisa having been brought in for a 96 hour hold and observation has done little but sleep. She is oblivious to what has been happening outside her own little room. Each and everytime she starts to come to her senses after waking up..the horrific reality of her missing/raptured daughter leads to an emotional outburst and each and everytime ..the staff responds with a stronger dosage ...more notes made...a longer stay suggested.

George Gant had been a solar astronomer for more than 30 years and had spent his entire career at the observatory. His parents had bought him a telescope for christmas when he was 10 years old and he had become hooked on the things of space ever since. He couldnt ask for a better location to work in. This was a research facility located in the San Gabriel Mountains of southern California at an altitude of 5,715 feet. The observatory is visable to much of the Los Angeles area. The observatory was closed to the public from Dec 1 to March 31 during the year except for special tours but George had not seen a living soul during his month of duty. Usually that would be because of heavy snowfalls, when dangerous icy conditions existed or the danger of high fire, but none of that had occurred during his month. The surrounding area was as it always was. The mountain and surrounding areas are rugged and wild and extreme care had to be taken when venturing off the highway. Many people came to the area for the hiking trails. The observatory had a 60 inch telescope that the public used when they visited and the rest of the telescopes were used for research only. George had never married or had children, so no one was waiting for him at home to wonder why he hadnt been relieved of his duty yet. He was now 2 days into his 2nd month. Sitting in front of his computer, he e-mailed NASA to enquire when he would be relieved. He was always on for one month and off for one month. He hoped it wouldnt be much longer because his food supply was dwindling down. On the night of the disapperances he had witnessed many strange lights in the sky but had been unable to find the source and so had sent the data to NASA for analysis. As he waited for NASA to respond back with information on his relief he began to analyze the data he had collected the night before. Bringing up the images on his screen, he went over each area searching for anything that was different from his previous data recorded. After 30 years at this his eyes were well trained to pick up any discrepancies. Eating his PBJ he paused to zoom in on an area that appeared slightly different. Whatever it was, it appeared to be several years away from earth and needed more analyzing.

Julie sat behind the cabin on an old porch swing looking up at the stars. Her mind wondering from the events of the evening with the new arrivals, to her own personal thoughts. She always tried to stay strong and not let her emotions carry her away as they had in the past but tonight she was feeling the sadness of being alone in this world. She knew Jesus was always with her, but tonight she had allowed her flesh to feel the loneliness. A tear slipped from the corner of her eye as she felt the Lord calling her to Himself. "Be still Julie, and know that I am with you always." She wiped the tear from her face with the back of her hand. " Let not your heart be troubled." She heard Him whisper. "This too, shall pass." she smiled feeling the comfort of her savoir. "Forgive me Lord for my silliness." she spoke out loud. "What silliness is that?" David said as he approached behind her. "Oh I guess I'm having an emotional evening, feeling kinda sorry for myself." she said startled at his approach. "We all have those times now that everything is so different from the lives we use to have." he told her. "Wanna star gaze with me for awhile? Its a beautiful night." she asked him. " Sure." he told her settling down on the swing next to her. "How many planets can you name?" he asked placing his arm on the back of the swing behind her head.

Heidi the news anchor was nervously fidgeting with her shirt, fluffing her hair and unbuttoning another button on her shirt. She would be greeting Mr. Argyros when he arrived to make what was supposedly a very important speech to the world, and she wanted to look drop-dead gorgeous for him. He was perhaps the most attractive man she had ever seen, and if she had read him right, he thought she was very attractive too. Heidi wanted to spend some "quality" time with him after the speech, maybe have a late dinner afterword and then...? The smiled at the possibilities. She quickly spritzed herself with some more perfume.
About 5 minutes later, Teodor arrived. He didn't seem to notice her until the very last second when she walked up to him to greet him. He quickly put on a winning smile and greeted her by name, kissing her hand and nearly making Heidi swoon. "Hello Secretary Arygros, and welcome to our set," Heidi said in her sultriest voice. Teodor, catching onto her true intentions, replied in a deep, rich tone. "Thank you Heidi, and please, it's Teodor." Heidi blushed and suppressed a giggle. "Of course...Teodor."
He was led to a podium which had the UN logo on it and a UN logo banner behind him. Teodor detoured from the podium to the set manager and whispered something to him, pointing to the side of the set. The manager frowned for a moment before acquiescing to Teodor's wishes and retrieving a new banner. He set it up behind Teodor, still rolled, with a chord hanging next to it, ready to be pulled at the appropriate time. Heidi didn't understand what it was but she was excited to find out.
"Mr. Secretary, you are on in 1 minute," the producer said. Teodor nodded and approached the podium. Heidi frowned when she noticed he had no notes and did not appear to be using the teleprompters. He must have his speech memorized! Heidi thought with admiration.
"You are on in 5...4...3...2...1..."
"Hello citizens of the world. My name is Teodor Argyros, and I am Secretary General of the United Nations. I am making this speech tonight to further our goals in bringing about world unity and lasting peace.
"I have created a global society, a government and banner under which we can all come together and live in harmony. This new society is called the Global Family, or the GF for short. It will be run by a council of 10 world leaders from each major populated country in the world, and I will be the leader of this council, which is called the Potentate. Therefore my new name is Potentate Argyros. I will personally choose these 10 leaders.
"Since there are many countries in the world, the world will be divided into 10 seperate countries, each with a different name. One leader will come from each of these new countries.
"In terms of your jobs, each and every citizen in the world will be working for the Global Family. If you have a job, you are working for the GF. All taxes go to the GF, which will be used to rebuild our society, which has been severely damaged by the Dissapearances, wars, famine, and crime. The wealthy have been severely damaged by these recent events, so the wealth of the world will be redistributed in order to ensure each citizen can live a comfortable and happy life. The rich will not control the world and the poor will not suffer because there will be no rich or poor. We will all live in equality. If you have money, all of it must be deposited into your local banks, which will all be converted into Global Family Banks.
"I have noticed there is still quite a bit of religious intolerance. Wars have been waged over religion, and it divides us as a people. Therefore we will create a One World Religion, called the Global Family Faith, or the GFF. This will be led by our current Pope, Pope Peter XXV. All religions will unite under this name. The Pope will give a speech outlining the specifics in the near future. The main point is that religious intolerance and hate speech due to religion will not be tolerated. I believe all religions lead to God and each person has God living within them. No specific religion is the right one and no one religion leads to Paradise; if anyone tells you otherwise, they are disillusioned and confused. All places of worship will begin to be converted into GFF worship spaces beginning sometime in the near future.
"All military will become part of the Global Family Military. This military will not be used for fighting; it will be primarily used to discourage crimes against the government and to suppress any resistance to the GF. All young adults, ages 18-30 are eligible to become a part of the Global Family Community Organizers. They will keep the peace in their individual communities and promote and enforce the goals of the GF.
"Because our economy is in shambles, I am enforcing a one world currency called the Argo. All currency will be converted into Argos once it is deposited into the Global Community banks. Daniel was so intrigued by the letters and all that has happened be forgot where he was. Quickly he did the math and knew they had about 30 seconds before he would lose the internet signal.
“Hit the print button, print as much of this stuff as you can” Daniel told Ben before replying to his Conning Officer.
“Very well Conn, pull down the antennas and take us to 90 feet.”
“Aye Captain”
Daniel watched his friend as he hit the print screen button again and again printing off one page then would go to another page and do the same. They had six pages to the printer when the signal ended.
“Now what” Ben asked collecting the pages that spit out of the printer.
“I don’t know, this is new and hard for me to understand. All my life I have looked to God; I have followed what our Rabbi’s have taught from the Torah. What is the chance that we were wrong and that the true Messiah did come?”
“I think you got a better chance then I do, I gave up on the teachings years ago I doubt if there is any hope for me.” Ben replied.
“There has to be, if what we read is the truth and the jury is still out on that, then certainly the God of life who is going to forgive our nation Israel after what it has gone then this same God will forgive you? Though my life I have not been a good role model either. I think right now we need to read some more and come to a bases to what all this means. I don’t want anyone but you and I to know what is going on until we reach the final answer. Agreed?”
“Agree, I just wise we had someone to guide us.”
“As do I but maybe if we open our minds and listen to what we read we might find the answers. I hope anyway.”

Daniel thought for a few minutes then pulled the black Bible from the pile. Thumbing though it, he found where the old and new Testament split. Taking his knife he cut the bible in half and handed Ben the New Testament.
I know the Torah and I want to see how close their old words are to ours. That is what they call the new writings or the New Testaments, it was written during and after this Jesus came on scene. Read it and give me a run down and your feelings what the writers are trying to say. I say we meet once a day after supper.”
“Ok I can do that, anything special I should be looking for?”
“Nope, if this is the works of God then I hope you will get a signal or sign”
“If it turns into a snake or something I am changing parts with you.” Ben said as he turned the half book over and looked at it on all sides.
“Snakes? I doubt it will do anything like that” Daniel laughed.
“I got to get up to Conn, see you tomorrow evening unless something really shouts out at you.”
Both men walked out of the stateroom. One headed for his work station while the other headed to his control room.

“I think you got a better chance then I do, I gave up on the teachings years ago I doubt if there is any hope for me.” Ben replied.
“There has to be, if what we read is the truth and the jury is still out on that, then certainly the God of life who is going to forgive our nation Israel after what it has gone then this same God will forgive you? Though my life I have not been a good role model either. I think right now we need to read some more and come to a bases to what all this means. I don’t want anyone but you and I to know what is going on until we reach the final answer. Agreed?”
“Agree, I just wise we had someone to guide us.”
“As do I but maybe if we open our minds and listen to what we read we might find the answers. I hope anyway.”
“OK so back to my first question, now what?”
Daniel thought for a few minutes then pulled the black Bible from the pile. Thumbing though it, he found where the old and new Testament split. Taking his knife he cut the bible in half and handed Ben the New Testament.
I know the Torah and I want to see how close their old words are to ours. That is what they call the new writings or the New Testaments, it was written during and after this Jesus came on scene. Read it and give me a run down and your feelings what the writers are trying to say. I say we meet once a day after supper.”
“Ok I can do that, anything special I should be looking for?”
“Nope, if this is the works of God then I hope you will get a signal or sign”
“If it turns into a snake or something I am changing parts with you.” Ben said as he turned the half book over and looked at it on all sides.
“Snakes? I doubt it will do anything like that” Daniel laughed.
“I got to get up to Conn, see you tomorrow evening unless something really shouts out at you.”
Both men walked out of the stateroom. One headed for his work station while the other headed to his control room.

Al: “Are we on? Good, hey folks we have some good news and some bad news to tell you so listen up.”
Hal: “What is good about it, nothing as far as I’m concerned?”
Al: “Now Hal, we have a little time left and maybe our guys back home will pull it off. Folks, the good news is, we have secured power for now but with it comes the bad news. I think you have all hear the news that the UN or the Global Family, what they call themselves now is taking over the world. We agree that something needs to be done but at what cost? It seems that they want all media outlets, TV, radio and print to conform to them and all programming must go through them before going public. This is hogwash! At this time we have our lawyers in court fighting for our rights. If we win we will remain on air but if they fail then as of midnight tonight we will change our format or be shut down.”
Hal: “How can they do this? We have never answered to no one except the FCC and even they didn’t make us send them our stuff before we air’ed”
Al: “As soon as we find out what the outcome is we will tell you all until then here is a update since we have been off the air. People are getting ready crazy out here. People are fighting for food and water, no longer are we seeing people hurt each other and stealing TV and stuff, now people are killing each other for food. It is just crazy.”
Hal: “Last night in a small town we saw buildings burning to the ground as Firefighters just stood around. We asked why they weren’t putting out the fire and they said if they don’t get paid they don’t play.”
Al: “It is not just them but Police as well are not patrolling the street like they us to, we saw a three vehicle accident yesterday were people were killed. After hours of waiting one guy in jeans and a shirt showed up, looked at the people and said “Yep there dead” then left.”
Hal: “I heard the hospital stop taking people.”
Al: “I’m sure they did, they…. Hey Donny why are we stopping?”
Both men left their seats at the back of the bus and went up front. Looking out the front window they saw two cars blocking the road and a group of men with guns waving the bus to stop. As Donny rolled to a stop, one man tapped on the door for them to open it.
“Stranger: “Good afternoon gentlemen we are the Midwest Patrol and we need to check your bus for anything we find illegal in our area.”
Al: “Who are you and what type of stuff?”
Stranger: “Midwest Patrol, we ensure nothing leaves our area that could be used for our own. Now set down and it should take but a second.”
Hal: “You can’t do this, everything we have belongs to us.”
Stranger: “We can and we will” Pointing his shotgun at Al’s head. “Come on boys search the bus” he shouted.
Three others climbed aboard and started looking in and pulling out all the drawers and shelves. It soon was made clear that they were wanting food or anything they could trade for food.
Al: “That is our food, you can’t take that!”
Stranger: “Open your mouth one more time and it will be the last. This food is needed in our area. Once we get what we need you can leave.”
Donny waited for all the men to be turned away from him and just as he saw he chance, he pulled put a small pistol he had under his seat. Just as he was about to turn and confront the men a hard blow to the back of his head sent him to the floor.
Standing over him was a lady who looked as if she had not bathed in weeks, her hair as cut short and her clothes was filthy.
Women: “Stupid idiot, I could have shot him. Hurry up boys but get it all, this rich folks can deal with the government hand outs later.”
All the food was removed along with the cash all three men had on them. Luckily the extra cash was hidden in a concealed location under the bed.
Stranger: “OK that didn’t hurt to bad, did it? You better get going and maybe you will find a doctor for your friend up the road.”
They left the bus, got into the vehicles and pulled away. Al and Hal just sat there not knowing what to do, they even forgot that they were still on the air.

On the Ranch
Kristen watched in facination as Maddie took the flatbread out of the oven. Everyone had decided to begin having communion once a week. With the antichrist signing the peace treaty with Israel, the tribulation had officially begun. Nathan and Matt had brought up that they need to start having regular Bible study, once in the morning and once at night. That was when Zoe had mentioned communion.
"We all need a reminder of what Jesus did for us all. When I did go to church, there was something about communion that always moved me." she had explained.
Maddie took the bread and set it in front of Shade. Kristen stood in the doorway of the kitchen and watched as everyone sat at the table.
"Father we come here this day, to thank You for all that You have done for us. We come here to remember the new covenant that You made with Your children over two thousand years ago. There are no words to express our gratitude and we pray that You will be with us and guide us through these next seven years. We do this communion to remember the sacrifiice and the debt paid, by Your Son, who committed no sin, but took our sins on Himself so that we could be reconciled to You. In Jesus name, Amen"
Maddie had cut the flatbread into several pieces and Shade picked up the plate and passed it around the table. When everyone had a piece he picked up his Bible and read.
19 And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”
Everyone ate their bread, but in the doorway, Kristen remembered the Man who had been beaten so severly. She could distinctly remember the crown of thorns on His head, and his bruised swollen face. She could hear the lash of the whip and the sound was as real as it had been in her dream. She eyes widened a bit. She had been curious what communion was, and had been watching carefully. She wondered why, at that moment, she remembered that particular part of her dream.
Next Shade picked up a tray of small juice glasses and passed it around the table. When everyone had a gass, he again picked up his Bible.
20 Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.
Everyone drank their juice, but Kristen reeled back into the kitchen. Her mind was flooded with her dream where the Man's blood fell from His hands to the ground. It had spoken and said "I love you." She could hear it in her mind. "I love you." as each drop fell to the ground. Kristen slid to the floor, her eyes filled with tears.
Maddie looked up to see Kristen was no longer standing in the doorway. She looked at Shade and then around the table. "I had hoped she would be curious and ask us why we were doing this."
