When they exited the building, they were surprised to see a cloud of planes firing missiles that exploded in mid-air. Instead of hitting their targets, the missiles were just blowing up in mid air. Kenny and David spun around to see the building collapse and the James gone. Kenny felt sad. David comforted him. Suddenly, without warning, a hailstorm began to fall on them. “This is it!” Kenny breathed, “This is where it starts.”

Yoshi picked up the remote and shut the TV off. "Yoshi, is this what you were keeping secret from us?" asked Ester. They could hear bombs exploding above their heads. "Dont be afraid Ester, you know God wil protect us." The Rabbi was typing as fast as he could. "I must let them know whats happening back in the states. Prophecy is being fulfilled faster than I anticipated." The floor shook beneath their feet as another bomb exploded. "I must see for myself whats happening out there." Yoshi exclaimed. "NO, No, you must stay inside with us." Ester cried. "If this is what I think it is, then God is control and I will be fine." he tried to comfort Ester. He slipped out the door and took the steps 2 at a time till he reached his living room. He opened the front door and stepped out on the porch. Looking up he saw the sky looking as if it had been set on fire. The missles were coming in from every direction. He watched as each missle exploded in mid air and then would fall to the ground harmless. He was excited and could feel the Lords presense. He was seeing Gods words come to life and he knew no weapon formed against them would prosper. I must go down and get The Rabbi and Ester. They have to see this." he thought to himself.
Just as the thought entered his mind, Ester and the Rabbi appeared at the door. Esters mouth hung open as she looked to the sky in unbelief. It looked like the fourth of july. The Rabbi lifted his hands and fell to his knees in praise and worship thanking God for the privledge of prophecy being fulfilled before his eyes. "Oh God of Abraham open the eyes of your chosen and their lips to call upon you and recieve your son as their messiah. This night may they turn to you for the truth. Remove their blinders Lord as they witness the miracle of your protection. Let the eyes of the world see that the God of Abraham has fulfilled prophecy before them and they are without excuse. Let them call upon your son Jesus and be saved for your glory. I ask in Jesus Holy and precious name, Amen." The Rabbi opened his eyes to see Ester and Yoshi on their knees, praying with him. "Lets return to the safe room until we know its safe to come out. God has allowed us to witness this night but now its time to return. We will watch from the tv to keep up with whats happening above us." Yoshi said. The three of them descended the stairs and closed the steel door behind them.

Lisa hurried to Brother Aarons office. " I just heard from Sarah." she excitedly told him. "They are about 30 minutes out." "Oh good good, send Terry and David down to the gate to watch for them. When they get here, have them drive the buses to the open garages we have prepared. Then have them bring them all to the main hall so they can have a proper welcome." said Brother Aaron. "I'm on it." Lisa said as she hurried out of his office.

Brother Aaron had changed his serman topic for the evening after hearing from the Rabbi and watching the news himself. He had set up large screens in the main hall so that everyone would be able to watch what was going on in Isreal later that evening when everyone in the compound would all be together. He had found the live feed camera on the internet and planned to use the large screens so everyone would see. Tonight they would hold a prayer vigil to pray for Isreal and to celebrate the new arrivals. He knew that many of them did not even know much about prophecy. But they would after tonight. He would show them scripture as they would all watch the events unfold.

On the Ranch
Kristen walked into the living room to find Zoe, Nathan and Maddie all asleep. They each had a Bible in their lap and the tv was on showing scenes from Israel. Kristen didn't understand why everyone seemed so excited about it. She had heard Matt yell for everyone to come see what was happening when it first started, and when Zoe realized what was happening the Bibles had come out. Kristen understood that it had been written in the Bible thousands of years ago, but still didn't understand what it meant.
Zoe woke up and saw Kristen standing watching the tv. "Hey." she said to the girl.
Kristen looked at Zoe. "Hey." She wanted to ask Zoe about why what was happening in Israel was so important, but didn't want to seem stupid.
Zoe could sense that Kristen had something on her mind. She wasn't sure what it was, but knew that things had to be confusing for her. She was not a believer, and Zoe had been praying for God to enter into Kristen's heart. Looking at the tv and back at Kristen she saw the frown on her face. "I know that it probably doesn't make sense that we are all so happy about what is happening in Israel." Zoe ventured a guess at what Kristen was frowning about.
"People are dying, and you seem happy about it." Kristen stated simply.
Zoe sat stunned. She had been so excited to see God protect Israel that she hadn't given a thought to all the people that were dying because of their hatred for Israel. "You're right. I was so fixated on seeing prophecy come to pass that I forgot that there are people dying." Zoe let out a huge sigh. "I'm sorry Kristen. I have no excuse. Those are human beings. I should be grieving the loss of lives and even more so grieving that those souls are more than likely in hell now."
Maddie had woken up and sat quietly listening to the converstion. "Kristen." she said gently. "We are not celebrating the death of so many people, although we should have thought of all those poor souls. We are celebrating seeing the God we love and adore fulfill His promise that Israel would be protected by Him. Oh Kristen, I pray that the Lord would open your eyes. What has happened is the first time in over two thousand years that God has moved so obviously to protect His chosen people and country. The sheer number of forces that were going after Israel, they didn't have a chance. Many people in Israel will now lift their heads heavenward and know that it was God who came to their defence in their time of need. Many Jewish people are already singing praises to Him in the streets. Look. See how they worship Him" Maddie said pointing to a scene on the tv of people dancing and singing, heads thrown back arms raised skyward. Others were on their knees faces pressed to the ground. "They are praising Him. They are praying to Him." Maddie said, tears rolling down her face.
Kristen watched the scenes on the tv and something in her heart shifted. The images of the people in Israel giving praise and thanks to God for coming to their rescue somehow seemed right. It was something she couldn't explain, but in her heart she knew, what was happening in Israel was the beginning of of something huge.

First Sergeant Levi looked over at his friend Corporal Bendin who sat in the driver seat of the half buried APC. Both men were out playing soccer when the alarm sounded telling everyone to report to their military post. Normally the alarms were for incoming missile attacks from the Gaza area, but these sirens were louder and sounded longer. Both men had run 500 meters to the first APC they came to. As other arrived, each piece of equipment reported in that it was manned and ready. Orders to proceed North were given to many but to APC 35-A which Levi and Bendin had jumped on was ordered to run out 2000 meters from the base and dig in. Lucky for them Israel had pre-dug holes all around the country so all a tank or other armor vehicle like the Armor Personnel Carrier that they rode on had to do was remove the wooden cover and back in.
Being this close, to the dig in site, the crew of the APC 35-A had a birds eye view when the incoming missiles and planes started falling from the sky. The show at first was a horror story as each person saw the hundreds of exhaust trails streak across the sky. Who could fire or launch all those missiles and bombers at one time. A total invasion was reported over the radio, not just from the North but from each side. All fronts were to expect heavy fighting within minutes and hours.
“All units, this is Vivi HQ, our missile defense system is down, expect heavy incoming air attack at anytime”
Levi didn’t like the sound of that watching the sky fill with rockets, missiles and jet fighters.
“Wow our missile defense system is doing a outstanding job” Bendin said in his microphone.
“Our defense system is down, they just announce it” Levi replied
“Well then they are shooting themselves down because nothing is landing or hitting anything”
Levi watched and remembered once on TV a fireworks display in New York. It looked like the same thing only bigger. Soon tank hatches, building doorways and windows slowly started to open. Men and women peaked out of the bomb shelters to watch the massive light display.
One of the Russian fighter pilots brought his Mig33 down out of the sky. His thoughts were to fly down low and chaff the area of people who he could now see just standing there. “What dumb Jews they are, don’t they know they are about to be killed.”
Lining up his sights on a group he pushed the lever that would in once second send 200 rounds of 20MM lead where the pilot held the crosshairs.
Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzz was all he heard. He didn’t see the tracer rounds or the smoke so he pulled up and test fired into the air. That time it worked, a line of red was sent flying out of the nose of the plane.
Bring his bird around for another run he just couldn’t believe this people. How could they just stand there, are they that stupid? 3 miles out he made his final turn and once again lined up his sights with the group that had grown larger. At one mile out he pushed the lever again but once again all he heard was a Bzzzzzzzzzzz which told him no ammo was being feed into the chamber. Quickly he pushed another button that allowed him to launch an air to ground missile. The green light lighted his HUD letting him know he was locked on to the vehicle next to the people.
Pulling the switch back, the missile should have left its pod, and streaked out passed his cockpit down to the ground.
Instead, it flew out stopped in dead air allowing the fighter jet to catch it before it exploded.
The people on the ground watched each detail and were amazed.
“How can this be? Does the IDF have that good of a defense system? Little did they know, the whole IDF command system was down, they had lost all power for no reason.

Yoshi, Ester and the Rabbi gathered around the TV watching the live feed coming into the safe room. They could still hear the bombs exploding above them as they watched them on camera. "This must be what it was like the night that death itself rolled through the streets." stated Yoshi. Some of the bombs had misfired and fallen back on the ones who had fired them. Screams could be heard coming from outside their perimeter. The Rabbi joined hands with his 2 friends as they bowed their heads to pray. "Father, we ask that you touch the lives of these lost souls that they might see and recognize your deliverance of Isreal. That they would see your glory and choose to change in time to be accepted into your kingdom. Let their eyes be opened and their hearts be changed this night, we ask in Jesus name." Opening their eyes they looked again at the tv watching as the camera panned the surrounding area. The bombs continued to burst into flames high above in the now daybreaking light.

Master Sergeant Dan Naulk was reading a book when the first reports of missiles, rockets and fighters were on their way. Being on the boarder with Syria, Dan signaled his crew to button up the tank and stand by to engage any enemy forces he knew would be coming. Reports over the radio told of hundreds of inbound jets and missiles. How they were going to stop them Dan had no idea but like each Jewish man and woman he would die trying.
“Sir, radar contact shows a large ground force 10 kilometers out and closing.” The voice on the radio said.
“Lock and load, a bag of wine to the first confirmed kill” Dan announced out to his 10 tank task group.
Slowly though the sight holes, they could make out the massive amount of armor as it bore down on their location. Still out of range but closing fast, each man and woman said a quick prayer then thought of their job at hand. No one wanted to lose his or her tank because they forget to do something. Suddenly the enemy force stopped.
What were they doing? Dan looked at his range finder and saw they were still to far out for a shot.
The force started up again but something was wrong, they broke ranks and was turning on themselves. The tanks with the shells meant for him and his crew were now being fired at their own tanks and ground troops. What was going on?
“Do you see that?” Someone on the radio asked. “Ya, they are fighting themselves, look at the troops run, wait they are shooting each other as well.” More chatter on the radio confirmed what Dan was seeing. Finally he told everyone to be quite. They all sat there in total amassment as hundreds of enemy men and equipment was destroyed without one shot fired.
Over the radio someone said “It was a work of God. It had to be.”
Every boarder reported the same. When the invading forces got close to the crossing over line, they would turn on themselves and would start destroying each other. Back in the national Headquarters as the reports came in, many figured that the invaders had a new chemical weapon that went bad. A mind controlling drug that failed the makers, only a few truly felt at first it was a work of God.

Steven took them to the sheriff’s garage where they picked up gas cans, tools, and then to the gas tank where they filled the gas cans. Steven walked around the lot feeling someone was watching their movements. Suddenly out of the corner of his eye, he spotted movement in the trees behind the gate to the lot. He slowly approached the area with his gun drawn and called out for whoever was out there to please come out with their hands in the air. “Show yourself now and there won’t be any trouble,” he called out. A young man walked out of the trees with his hands in the air. Steven approached him and said, “What are you doing here?” He then saw another shadow in the trees and shouted, “Whoever’s out there make your presence known NOW!” A young girl stepped out with her hands in the air crying, “Please don’t shoot me.” Steven turned to the boy and asked, “Again, what were you doing?”
The boy looked scared. “We were looking for a place to hide.”
“Why do you need to hide?” asked Steven.
He replied, “Our gramma was taken in the rapture so our uncle took over the house and he has been really mean to us in the past. My sister, Amy, is scared of him because of things he’s done to her so we ran. My name is Jason. I was only trying to protect my sister.”
Steven put his hand on the boys shoulder and said, “We won’t hurt you and I’m pretty sure there’s a place for you stay, but let me check first.”
He found Sam and asked about allowing Jason and Amy joining the group. “We are to love one another and show compassion just as Jesus did so the answer is yes,” replied Sam. “Steven, I think we are ready to head back to the house so get your new friends and we’ll get out of here.”
Steven, the boy and girl got into the truck while Sam, Tom, and Kerri followed in the car. When they arrived at the house Christina ran out to greet them, “Everything is ready to go when you are.” The men loaded the freezer and generator into the back of the truck while the women finished loading the bus with the rest of the supplies.
The group turned to look at the house then formed a circle to pray. “Heavenly Father, guide us in the days a head, keep our focus clearly on Your Son, Jesus Christ and keep Your hand upon us while we go through these trying times. Thank Lord for the many blessings we have received and for the ones who provided these supplies and a place for us to live in safety. We praise Your Most Holy Name. In Jesus’ name we send our petition. Amen.”

Everyone was sitting in front of the tv watching what was happening in Israel. Reporters were scrambling to get new information, and their reports were becoming frantic. It was apparent that the assult on Israel from the air was a complete failure. Reports that the ground troops that had been called in were now going crazy and turning on each other. It had begun to rain heavily and the tanks, humvees, and other vehicles were getting stuck in the mud, and there were even reports of mudslides in the mountains of Israel burying equipment so that the roads to the Golan Heights were completely impassable. The rain was so heavy in places that it looked like water was being poured on the invading troops. Reports of desertion from the battle ground were in the process of being confirmed.
One soldier who spoke to reporters had covered his face with a cloth and would not reveal his identity for fear of reprisal. "Allah has failed us in our mission to eradicate our enemies. The God of the Jews is more powerful than Allah. The Jewish God Jehovah has made a mockery of Allah. I renounce Allah and Islam and choose to follow the God of the Jews. All honor, praise and glory to Jehovah!!!" With those words he ran toward the border of Israel and disappeared into the pouring rain.
Trevor let out a whistle and Matt jumped up and down in excitement with his cousin Tori. "Do you think more muslims will turn to God and then Jesus?" Tori asked excitedly.
"I don't know, but I sure hope so." Shade said with a grin.
