When Kristen made her announcement, everyone had jumped. Kristen had been so anxious to tell them about her dreams she had actually shouted her announcement. Maddie had patted the empty chair next to her and Kristen had sat down. She began telling them about her first dream. She described the Man who had be beaten so severly. She told them about the the crown of thorns the other men had forced on his head.
"I don't know how I knew, but I knew the Man hadn't done anything to deserve that beating." Kristen said.
Everyone sat quietly, transfixed, hearing Kristen's dream. She described the sounds and smells as if she had actually been there in person.
Kristen then began to tell them about her second dream. She told them about the three men on the crosses. She explained about the Man on the middle cross and how His blood actually spoke. She told them abou the man in the dingy white robe and told them his name had been Lucifer. She described the three horrid little creatures and that one of them, Lucifer had called Death. She described how the creatures had hissed and spit at the Man on the middle cross, and about one of the men asking the Man to remember him. She told them about the Man's promise and how Lucifer had seemed to get more and more angry. She told about how he would whisper furiously to the Man and about the woman and the other man who approached the foot of the cross. She explained how the man in the dingy robe had become frightened and angry when the Man had died, and how he had shook his fist at Him and told Him it wasn't over.
"He grabbed one of the ugly creatures and told it he couldn't let Him escape his sting. He called it Death." Kristen said.
Then Kristen told them about her latest dream. She described the stone, and how the ground had shook and then a man in a white robe rolling the stone from in front of the small cave. She told them about the Man folding the piece of cloth and then exiting the cave and walking right past her. She told them about falling to her knees as He walked past her and seeing the holes in His hands. She described the men who seemed to be frozen in fear, and then the two women. She told them that they had been crying until the man in the white robe spoke to them and how they had run away their faces shining with joy.
"Then I woke up and heard Maddie reading the bible. She read what I had just dreamed. All through my dreams I listened for the Man's name, but nobody ever said it. Or if they did, I coulnd't hear it or understand it." Kristen looked puzzled. "Anyway," she continued, "When Maddie read that passage and she said the Man who left the tomb was Jesus...." Kristen trailed off.
Matt let out a low whistle. "Kristen, that is so cool."
"Wow." Nathan agreed.
"Everything I've read to you, never once did it refer to Satan as Lucifer." Tori said. "God gave you those dreams." she finished with a firm nod.
"That's the only explanation." Shade agreed.
"But why?" Kristen asked. "I'm not a Christian. It makes more sense for Him to have one of you have these dreams." Kristen said.
"God has a reason, Kristen." Zoe said. "He will let you know why in His time." she said with certainty.

He had spent hours zooming in on the data in front of him. He did not like what he was seeing at all. He sure hoped his analysis was wrong. His heart beating at top speed, he entered the data into the Nasa database and clicked send. He would have to wait. He knew there would be no rush to judgement from Nasa. They would take their time analyzing before getting back to him. Glancing at his watch, he noticed that it was well after midnight. Setting the alarms and moniters around the perimeter of the observatory he decided to retire to his room for the night. He hoped he would hear something from Nasa by daybreak about his discovery. He no longer cared about his relief coming to replace him. He knew he was onto something big. Something bigger than he had ever seen in his entire career.

The Rabbi slipped quitely out of the house in the pre-dawn light not wanting to wake his two host. He was on his way to the wailing wall for his morning prayers and a visit to the two witnesses. As he made his way through the old streets he watched as clean-up crews had began the chore of cleaning up the debris that now littered the roadways and surrounding area. He greeted many people who were out and about in the pre-dawn light heading in the same direction that he was. No longer did their faces reveal any sadness or contempt for the people who had been their enemies, but now showed a sense of peace and happiness, feeling secure and safe for the first time in along time. His heart was sad knowing feelings of security would be short lived. As he rounded the last street and approached the wall he could see that many had ventured out to hear the witnesses. As he got closer to them he could hear them bellowing out to the crowd.
THE KINGDOM OF THE WORLD HAS BECOME THE KINGDOM OF OUR LORD AND OF HIS CHRIST, AND HE WILL REIGN FOR EVER AND EVER.
There came flashes of lightning and rumblings of thunder as the Rabbi approached them. "Greetings, in the name of Jesus." he spoke to them. "May the peace of our Lord be with you Rabbi." one said to him. The Rabbi and the 2 witnesses continued to speak with one another for sometime. Some in the crowd tried to inch closer to hear what was being said but the thunder seemed to drown out their voices. As the Rabbi turned to leave one witness spoke saying, "Go in peace our brother, for the Lord is with you till the end." The Rabbi walked further down the wall and removed the paper from his pocket. Placing it in one of the cracks in the wall he knelt down and prayed that God would recieve the many prayer request that he had put on his list. He silently prayed a little longer until he felt the peace of the Lord surround him. Giving thanks he rose and began his walk back to Yoshi and Esters house. The meeting had inspired him on his next message to be sent out on tribsurvivors.com As he approached the front door he could smell the delicious aroma of Esters breakfast. All he could think about was setting down to breakfast and telling them all about his morning. Then he would take care of the webpage.

His mind was racing as he typed todays report onto the tribsurvivors.com page. The two witnesses that morning had confirmed to him the announcement he was now making in his report. He had set up a special section on the page for the 144,000. He knew that his webpage was going out all over the world and many of those left behind had already found it. But he needed to make sure 144,000 like himself would find it by whatever means it took. A place for all of them all over the world to come and communicate with each other. He had asked his audience to spread the word quickly for much was to be done for the next 7 years.

Jonathan and Bridget sat in the main hall with their bibles open to the passages that Brother Aaron was teaching them about in the evening service. Bridget had been unable to eat dinner that evening due to her morning sickness taking over her nights, but no matter what she would not miss a service. Kevin and Emily sat next to them listening and helping them find the verses.
"and they sang a new song before the throne and before the 4 living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth. These are those that did not defile themselves with women, for they kept themselves pure. They follow the Lamb wherever He goes. They were purchased from among men and offered as first fruits to God and the Lamb. No lie was found in their mouths; they are blameless." as Brother Aaron closed his bible he looked out at all that had gathered. "For those of you just beginning to study Gods word, we have a special bible class starting tomorrow morning on the Two Witnesses. This is the prophecy we are witnessing right now and they will be with us for the next three and a half years before they return to the Father. Before you leave tonight be sure and sign the sign up sheet at the door for those of you who are interested. Now lets turn on the live feed cameras from Isreal and catch up on the days events before we depart."

Since Steven had taken the back way into town it had taken a lot longer than he had anticipated. Sam had called him twice about Jason missing and then to look out for him that he had probably taken one of the atvs. He thought to himself, “Don’t know what got into that boy, thought he was such a nice young man and truly had come to realize Jesus Christ was his Savior. One never knows about somebody.” He could see something in the distance and it looked like a pillar of smoke coming from the direction of town. He sped up and Bud noticing the sudden change yelled, “Hey man, what’s the big hurry? You racing to a fire or something……oh my, I see what you are seeing.”
The closer they got the more they could tell it was a huge fire. Steven stopped the car as soon as he saw what was on fire. The church he had attended so many times over the years was fully engulfed in flames and there was absolutely nothing anyone could do to save the old wood framed building. He let out a sigh, “Who would do such a thing? They must be here and spreading their evil. We must find Jason and make sure he’s ok.”
No sooner had Steven spoken the words than he spotted Jason standing across the street watching the church burn and the look on his face completely stunned Steven. He was actually smiling and looking smug while that beautiful old building burned to the ground. They agreed to split up and surround Jason in order take him by surprise. Tom went around the corner to come up behind him while Bud went the opposite way and Steven walked straight toward the young man. Steven walked with a purpose and anger was beginning to take hold of him because he knew Jason had purposely set that fire. He heard a car stop behind him and a door slam and when he turned around to see who it was he saw Sam running toward him. He grabbed Steven and pulled him to the side. “Jason may be involved with that bunch we encountered the other day. I’ve been thinking of all the things Amy told us about his disappearances and odd behavior…..it all adds up….he is being influenced by that group. Look at him enjoying the church burning to the ground. He doesn’t have any idea we are watching him so we must grab him and take him out of here before he hooks up with them again. We have to try and save him from himself.”
“Yeah, Bud and Tom are going to come in from separate directions and I was going to approach him from the front. We didn’t want him getting away.”
Just as they started walking toward Jason they noticed Bud take him down to the ground. Jason didn’t resist at all and just blankly stared into Bud’s eyes. Bud looked up at the other men and said, “What’s wrong with him? He acts as though he’s possessed or something.”
“He is Bud. He’s friends with those punks we ran into a couple of days ago. I would bet they got him to thinking like them,” said Steven.
“I thought he was a believer in God and Jesus Christ. He said he was sorry he hadn’t listened to his dear sweet grandmother when she tried to get him to go to church and read the Bible. He said she was raptured and talked as though he knew and believed,” Bud said with a look of sadness covering his face.
“People say a lot of things they don’t mean. He may have been taught to pretend to go along so he could get inside our group then destroy us. He could have brought harm to all of us had he lead his buddies to the cave,” stated Sam.
Steven shook his head, “It’s a shame, a real shame he had to do this.”

If this were a face-to-face conversation, the top leader of Aspic would be dead in two seconds. Raven was being screamed at, all because he had assassinated the vice president of the US. Actually, he hadn’t assassinated him. His good friend Fredrick had. “You idiot!” the man screamed over the phone, “You killed Lucas! Then you got Fredrick to kill the vice president! You idiot! Burn in-,” Raven couldn’t take it anymore, “Shut up, or you are my next target. Look, I’ve been killing people for ten years. You’re not going to make a difference. Next, I’m not going after Brutus. He’s unimportant. For you, I will try to take out Argyros’...mom.” The leader sounded happy, “I like that! Yes, I do!” And with that, raven shut the phone shut. He swore, “I’ve always hated the elderly.”
Kenny sat in his house and sipped his cup of coffee. Someone had been brutally murdered. His brains, disgustingly, blown out, getting blood all over Kenneth Brutus’ face. He was shocked at first, and then frantic, and then he rushed to a phone to call for the police. Already, he had known that the shot came from the bush across the street. He had seen people in that bush, rustling around. Once, he even thought he saw a gun. He laughed it off. But the second after that, his friend was dead before he hit the floor. And that only made the tears come more. “O God!” Kenny shouted, throwing himself to the floor, “What have I done? I am like the murderer myself! Please, respond! Talk to me! PLEASE!” Kenny started to sob when he heard nothing. He got up and threw himself into the table, knocking his coffee and his Bible to the ground. He didn’t pick any of them up. He just slammed to the ground in a fetal position. “Please Lord…please talk to me…when I need you most…your never there.”
Just when he was getting tired and falling asleep, Kenny heard a voice like lightning put him to sleep. “Hush, my child,” the Voice said, “No one will be able to stand up against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Kenny looked up, very curious. “Who are you?” he whispered, and the Voice replied, “I AM WHO I AM!” And with that, Kenny fell to sleep, still in his fetal position.

Jason seemed to come out of his trance and looked around to see four men staring him down. He thought, how will I get out of this one? He had seen Harland at the bar and knew they were making plans to destroy the town then find the girl Max had tried to rape and kill her. He had been wanting to burn that church for a very long time. God had taken everyone he had ever really loved. It was God that took his beautiful mother and his dad that had always taken time out of his busy day to spend time with him.....just the two of them hanging out......this so-called loving God didn't care about him or anyone else. He loved burning the place they called God's house.
"Son, what in the blazes were you trying to prove by burning the church down? What is wrong with you?" Steven asked.
"Don't call me son....you are not my father. You would never understand, but I hate that place and I hate anyone that claims to love God. You think you are so smart and you have all the answers, but you don't know anything. I enjoyed watching that place burn and I would enjoy watching as you all die at the hands of my friends, my only true friends. They don't lie to me like everyone else has done," Jason spat at them.
They all looked at each other and wondered what had happened to make this young man so bitter. Sam put his hand on Jason's shoulder and looked him straight in the eyes and said, "You are so very wrong about God. He loves you so much that He gave His only Son to die on the cross for you, me, and all of mankind. He only wants us to love Him and man continues to reject Him and His son. You are right about one thing, we don't have all the answers, but by reading God's word, we learn something about Him every day. I don't know what you think God has done to you, but it's nothing compared to what He has done for you."
Bud leaned into the boy's face and gave him a stern look, "You followed the wrong people and now you seem to think they are telling you the truth when they are putting out the biggest lie of all, the lie is that our Heavenly Father, God, and His son Jesus are somehow less than the evil one they follow. There's only two things we have to consider in life and that's to be on the side of truth or to decide to believe in the lie. You chose to believe the lie and if you don't turn from that lie, you and all your friends will be sentenced to a life in hell for all eternity. If you don't believe in that, then you are to be pitied. We will pray that you will soften your heart and accept Christ as your personal savior."

Harland was on his sixth beer and ready to fight. Max didn't quite know how he was going to keep him from from shooting up the place. He had been in at least two arguments since they had arrived at the bar and the men had been smart enough to leave before Harland had really gotten mad. He could feel the gun pressing into his back and he didn't really want to use it, but he figured before the night was over there would be a reason to use it.
"That pretty little girl you fancied hasn't shown up tonight. You will get what you want before the night is done," Harland sneered at Max.
"Maybe she and her friend have left town by now after we scared her so badly the last time. We don't have to hurt anybody, ya know."
"What? You scared to show these dumb folks who's superior? You lose your nerve, Max, old buddy? Remember what we did to those Bible thumpers at that camp....we showed them who was the best......we showed our Master who served him best.....we showed everybody!"
"No, I won't ever forget what we did to those people. They didn't do anything to us and we killed them just for our own pleasure. It left a bad taste in my mouth and it haunts me every night. I see the looks on their faces and hear the sound of their screams in my dreams. You may have a heart made of stone, but I don't. It sickens me to this day what we did and I am growing weary of your ranting about superiority and all the lies you talk. What we did to that boy, Jason, was pure evil. You know what, I'm through with you and your meaness." Max finished and turned to leave the bar when Harland reached into his back harness and pulled out his gun.....the shot was fired right at Max's back......somehow the bullet went astray. He aimed once more and pulled the trigger and the gun exploded, but the bullet pierced his hardened heart not even coming close to its intended target. He had this strange look on his face as he fell to the floor. Harland was dead. The bartender was in shock as he watched Max walk out of the bar and away from the evil that had gripped his soul for far too long.
He walked down the street thinking of the songs he had heard when they opened the door to the chapel...Our God is an awesome God...the words kept ringing in his ears. He fell on his knees and in anguished cried out, "God, I am sorry for all the things I've done. I'm sorry that I ever hurt anyone. I can't ever forget the sounds of that day......forgive me." He pulled the gun from the holster and pulled the trigger.

Steven held Jason's arm while Bud walked on the other side of him. His head was reeling and he wanted to escape their grasp, but how? "You have served your Master well tonight," said the voice. He turned to see this dark figure coming toward him. He briefly looked away, but was just as quickly jerked back to the menacing figure. "We are pleased with your progress. Good idea to burn the last symbol of their God," the figure said. Suddenly another figure approached and said, "Leave this child alone. He has been marked by the Holiest of Holies. Depart from him now." The figure began to hiss and shrink a little, but he continued, "He is ours. We will use him for the Master's purpose." The other figure came into view and he was robed in the purest white Jason had ever seen and he appeared to be ten times larger than the darker figure. He held out his hand and began speaking, "You lead him astray and your end is nigh. This child has always been with the Great I AM and you will not lay claim to him. The Lord calls each to His own purpose and you will not take him. You preyed upon a wounded child, but you shall not win. Go hither and leave this place for God has control over all. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth I beseech you to leave this soul forever." The dark figure began hissing and shrinking further into the shadows at the mention of the name. His power becoming less and less and suddenly he was gone, a pile of dust in the road. Jason collapsed onto the sidewalk.
