Tori saw Belle trip and that jarred her out of her thoughts. She shook her head and silently told herself to stop thinking about her parents.
She reached out and caught Belle by the upper arm to steady her. Belle smiled at her over her shoulder and turned back to the path through the destruction. After several steps, Tori’s mind wandered back to her parents. She hated the thought of them being in hell, but there was nothing to be done about it now. She knew they hadn’t ever gone to church, and they had never talked about God, so she doubted that they had been saved.
She tripped over a brick and stumbled to the side running into a man from behind. He quickly turned and Tori’s eyes widened in recognition. “Earl!!!”
Belle turned at Tori’s voice, and saw the man grab his sidearm.
“STOP!!!” Belle shouted as she jumped toward the man seeing him slam the end of the gun barrel against Tori’s forehead.

The shot rang out, and several people turned at the sound. Matt and Shade saw both Belle and Tori go down.
“Earl!!” they heard a man shout as he ran over to him.
“EARL!!!” Shade shouted and began running over to the two fallen women.
Ronald/Earl looked at the man next to him. “You called me Earl.” With horror he realized the principal knew who and what he was. The look on his face told him.
“What have you done?” the principal shouted at him.
“EARL!!!!” Earl jerked his head to see Shade and his son Matt racing toward him. He dropped the gun and ran.
In the shadows the girl lowered the gun. The old lady had gone down hard. She began to smile when she saw movement. She cursed and threw the gun when she saw Belle crawl to the girl who had fallen down.
“TORI!!!!” Belle screamed.
“NO!!!!” Nathan hurdled the last of the debris between him and his little sister. He dropped to his knees and saw Tori’s eyes open, the hole in the middle of her forehead, and began to scream. “TORI!!!!!!”

Tori looked up into Jesus eyes. "Oh Lord, My King." she whispered.
Jesus smiled and opened His arms, and Tori threw herself into them, squeezing her eyes shut against the flood of happy tears. She opened her eyes briefly and saw the saints standing behind Him. She heard Jesus begin to laugh and soon she was laughing too. Behind Him stood her earthly mother and father. Jesus let her go and her parents rushed forward and gave her a hug. Tori still clung to Jesus hand. He smiled and gave her hand a gentle squeeze and in her mind she saw her parents being witnessed to. They both argued with the elderly man who was witnessing to them, but after what in reality was hours, but seemed like meer nanoseconds, she saw both her parents kneel in prayer. She heard their conversation on the plane, and their excitement to share their new found faith with Nathan and Tori. Tori turned her head and looked at Jesus again. "Thank You Jesus, thank You."

Nathan sat in the back of the SUV with Tori as Shade and the rest rushed around the house at the estate gathering their belongings.
After the shooting the man who had rushed at Earl had tried to comfort Nathan, but he had held on to Tori's lifeless body and cried. Kristen had rushed up and fallen to her knees and pressed her face into Nathan's back and sobbed with him. Lorna and Zoe had wrapped their arms around Matt as he too dropped to his knees and began weeping over his cousin, tears rolling down their faces. Shade had fallen back a step and sat down his head in his hands as the sobs tore from his throat. Soon Devon ran up asking what had happened. Not one person could answer her, and she finally saw Tori laying in her brothers arms. Her legs had given out and she had dropped to the ground her eyes filling. Mo and Raul had run to get one of the SUV's to transport Tori back to the estate. Pulling as close as they could, Nathan had finally pulled himself to his feet and carried his sister to the car. Mo had driven one car and Raul the other. On the drive Nathan had insisted that they head back to the ranch. He wanted his sister's final resting place to be in the place where she had accepted Jesus as her Savior.
"Shade." Raul said quietly. "The man told me he was sending out a search party for the man who killed Tori. He saw the ... he saw what happened, and said that Earl had no reason to do what he did. I think the man will do everything he can to bring Earl to justice."
Shade nodded his throat too tight to say anything.
"If you don't mind, we would like to follow you to the ranch so we can attend the funeral." Raul continued.
"Of course." Shade choked out.
"I couldn't get hold of Trevor. The phone lines are still down here. I sent him an e-mail..." Zoe trailed off as her throat clogged with tears.
"Nathan hasn't let go of her." Shade said.
All Maddie and Zoe could do was nod.
With a sigh Shade led everyone out of the house and to the cars. With heavy hearts everyone climbed into the cars the procession left the estate and headed back to the ranch.

Steven barely waited for the van to come to a complete stop before he was there to greet his friends. "Welcome home. You guys are sure a sight for sore eyes. Man, I'm sure glad to see you, Kerri."
Sam laughed, "Whoa....give us a second before you knock us over. We are just as glad to see you and to be back with everyone."
Christina was running toward Sam and when she reached his side she had a look that was telling Sam something else was up other than her being glad to see him. She gave him a hug, "First of all, I am so glad you are back. Second, I am giving you an answer to your question a few days ago and if you are still interested the answer is YES! Thirdly, Amy sent you another email and I'm sure you'll be leaving us soon so...."
Sam put his finger to her lips, "Slow down, slow down. First answer is I am very glad to be back and to see you, too. Second, I am absolutely, positively very interested. Thirdly, I will be leaving shortly, but I will spend a couple of days resting and being with my friends. How's that?"
She locked her eyes on his and quietly replied, "Sam, I love you. Welcome home."
"Ditto. I love you, too," he answered.
Everyone gathered around Kerri and Shannon hugging them until Kerri lovingly asked them to stop. "Everyone, thank you so much for your prayers and your continued faith in our Lord Jesus. I could feel his presence and yours when I was unconscious. I even heard your prayers. Shannon and I are so very grateful to God that we have such loving and kind friends. Bless all of you. I'm glad to be home and I'm ready to start working again. Thank you so much, dear friends."
Shannon stood beside her husband beaming, "I can only say to all of you, our sincere gratitude is unmeasurable. Just to let all of you know, we have forgiven Jason just as God has forgiven him. We are just thankful he finally decided to be on the Lord's side."
Amy walked over to Jason and put her arm around him. "Jason, I'm so glad you're ok and that you have decided to do what is right in the sight of God. Gramma would be so proud of you. I'm sure she's cheering in heaven right this minute. I love you, Jason."
"Amy, I'm so sorry. I was so stupid. I think God was waiting for me to ask the voices to leave me alone. Everyone prayed so hard for me, but it was ultimately my decision and I had to ask Him to forgive me and to replace the evil in my heart with His love and grace. Thank you for loving me and not giving up on me."
Tom walked over to join Jason and Amy. "Son, I'm so glad you finally accepted Christ as your personal savior. It is so good to see a smile on your face. Tomorrow you and I will get started on that barn. Are you up for it?"
"Yes, sir. Thank you for being so kind to me.....and patient."
Linda and Alexis were talking to Shannon when Linda caught Bud's eye and decided it was time she talked to him. "Bud, I'm glad you're back. You know I missed you."
"I thought about you a lot. I thought a lot about your cooking, too," he said laughing.
"Oh, it always comes back to your stomach. Well, dinner is ready." She held her hands in the air and asked for their attention, "Dinner is ready and I think we need to eat before Bud passes out from hunger."
As everyone was walking inside Bud put his hand on Linda's shoulder, "I missed you a lot more than your cooking. I missed you a lot."
"Now you want to butter me up, eh. Well, it's ok because you're forgiven," Linda said giving him a wink.
Everyone took their place at the table and Sam lead them in prayer. "Our Heavenly Father, we want to thank you for the many blessings we have received. We give You all the praise and glory for healing our dear friend, Kerri. We ask that You forgive us when we fall short and for Your continued guidance in all that we do. Thank You for saving us from our sins and giving us eternal life with You. Bless this food we are about to eat and the hands that prepared it. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen."
Sam looked at the group seated around the table all laughing and talking at the same time. His heart felt full and though it may get rough over the next few months and years, the reward would far out weigh anything they would encounter on this earth.

Austin came charging into the office area, growling under his breath. With a deep push from the bottom of his lungs, he vocalized..."Where is BJ?"
With a sence of what might be coming, Amy had a small grin on her face and asked Austin why he was looking for BJ.
" Well this morning, I went to open the door to the e-lab and as soon as I touched the door knob I got a small shock. It really surprised me more then anything, so after deciding that it must be a static electrical charge i grabbed the door knob again and got zapped again. I stood there for a minute and thought to myself, what in the world is going on here. I went down the hallway and grabbed a towel, placed it on the door knob and turned it. Letting myself in, immediatly i noticed 2 small wires running from the door knob down to the floor to a small 9-volt battery. Then I noticed the note... "Hope your morning was a shocking one, Love BJ"
I knew right then and there that I needed to get my hands on that boy."
Amy not able to contain her laughter, shook her head at the thought of BJ and his little pranks.
Meanwhile down in the basement of the shop in his study area, MD was listening to the breaking news of the new swine flu pandemic that seemed to be appearing in many nations across the globe. "Christ said there would be pestilences." MD told himself. "I just wonder how bad it will get when the real plagues of the tribulation start."
Doug, Jim, John, and Bill worked diligently on their new survival packs for the trib warriors. So far they have put together back packs with items for making fire, cooking, and basic survial tools. They really want the survival packs to be completed soon so that they could start distributing them with the deliverys that Bill and Sam were doing so that when things get really tough the trib warriors would have items for basic human needs.
Doug pulled out his note pad and started reading off the different items that were included in the backpacks. The items were....

It hadn't taken long for the GFPD to catch Earl. He now sat in the back of a transportation van after his'trial'. It had been a quick affair with several witnesses telling what they had seen.
After stealing a car and racing for several miles the GFPD had rammed him off the road and then questioned him for several hours on the side of the road. They had then taken him back to the scene of the shooting. There a 'judge' had waited to hear witness testimony.
After hearing the testimony of the principal of Tulsa's Education center and several bystanders it had been confirmed that Earl had indeed drawn his weapon on an innocent civilian. But the conundrum was that the girls body had disappeared. There was also the reports of gunfire from by one of the buses not far from the incident. It was unclear to the 'judge' if anyhone had indeed been shot, and if so which shot had injured or killed the person.
"No body, no murder." the 'judge' said quickly.
The principal had argued that he had seen firsthand Earl pull the trigger and kill the girl, but the 'judge' refused to accept his testimony as fact without a body to confirm a murder had taken place.
Earl had been given the opportunity to testify. "I don't remember pulling my sidearm, or pointing it at the girl. I guess when she ran into me I may have over reacted and done so. If I shot her, it was an accident." Earl lied.
He remembered seeing Tori's face and his first thought was to eliminate her so that she wouldn't tell anyone where he was or what he was. The shot had actually been an accident. He had slammed the gun barrel so hard against her forehead that his finger had bumped the trigger. He had planned to pull it anyway, so that little detail was neither here nor there in Earl's opinion.
The principal had also testified that Earl had stolen his brothers identity, and alleged that he was a pedophile.
The judge had asked Earl about it, and Earl had scrambled to defend himself.
"Yes, I did take over my brother Ronald's identity, but only because I needed a job. Most of the people where I'm from disappeared, so I came to stay with my brother and his family. When I arrived I discovered that they had also disappeared. As for being a pedophile, I won't even dignify that accusation with an answer." Earl had finished with a huff. He hoped that the 'judge' would buy his act about being offended at the allegation and let the matter drop.
After deliberating for ten minutes, the 'judge' gave his ruling. Earl had been found guilty of drawing his weapon on an innocent civilian. He had been cleared of the charge of murder, but only because there was no body, and also cleared of the charge of pedophilia. "Besides all the children are gone anyway, so he's no threat to kids." the 'judge' had finished.
Earl was now awaiting transport to serve his sentence of six months hard labor. When Earl had heard his sentence, he had breathed a huge sigh of relief. He had gotten away with murder, as well as his crimes against children.
The van pulled into the airport, and Earl was transported to an airplane. One of the GF officers noticed the confusion on Earl's face. "Something wrong?" the guard asked.
"Why am I flying? I thought they would drive me to MacAlister."
The guard began to laugh. "You're not going to MacAlister. You will serve out your sentence in Babylon as labor to build the Pontantates new headquarters."

The moon was full and shown brightly all around the perimeter of the landscape surrounded by the forrest. George sat in his normal spot as he did each night, in front of the countrys most powerful telescope. The anomoly he had been watching for the past 2 months shone as brightly as the stars. According to his data, it was moving closer and closer to the earth, and yet he had still not heard back from the Pentagon on what seemed to be approaching the earth faster as each day passed. Stu had been gone for 2 weeks now but called him everyday so the two could pray together. The time spent together had bonded them as tight as two biological brothers would be. They had shared their dreams and visions and had learned much together through Gods Word. They both knew who they were and what they were to do to further Gods kingdom. They would spread the word to whomever God chose and they would wait upon the Lord for the seal on their forehead. In the mean time Stu was back on the job deliverying his packages for Fed Ex, and George would continue to search the heavens for the signs yet to come.
Taking off his glasses, he rubbed his eyes and massaged his temples. It was time for a break. His eyes had grown tired and he still had several more hours of data to log. Pouring himself a cup of coffee he wondered outside and took a seat on the porch swing. The moon was so bright tonight it uliminated all the landscape, right down to the edge of the woods near the master gate. Praying softly to himself he thanked his Father forhis blessings and softly sang Amazing Grace as he pushed off in the swing listening to the nights sounds. He loved his quite time with the Lord. He felt His presense right next to him.
Opening his eyes he took a sip of his coffee as he looked out over the landscape. He could see shadows dancing around the edge of the woods. Must be rabbits heading for the garden again. Out of no where he saw the shadow grow much larger, and heard the deep growl. It continued to growl as it edged its way closer to the observatory. George tried to see what it was, but even in the bright moonlight all he could see was two red eyes glowing and approaching. George walked quickly back inside shutting and latching the door behind him. He could feel his spirit urging him to put on the full armor of God. Satan was roaming seeing whom he could devour. George knelt and cried out to God to surround him with angels of protection. He asked God to be his shield and give him the strength he knew only could come from above. He didnt know how long the night would be, but what he knew was the battle belonged to the Lord no matter what might happen to George. The growling was growing louder or closer, George wasnt sure.

On the Ranch
Tori’s funeral was over. Neither Nathan or Kristen had said a word. They had just stood quietly as silent tears coursed down their cheeks.
Trevor looked at them worriedly. Tori’s death had hit them hard.
To tell the truth it had hit them all hard. When he had opened the e-mail from Zoe, he had expected a report on the progress in OKC, but when he had read about Tori being murdered, he had stared at the computer screen in shock. He wasn’t sure how long he had sat there, but it had been long enough for Travis to get out of bed and come looking for him. Trevor had jumped when he felt the hand on his shoulder.
The sun had long set, and Trevor had been surprised that so much time had passed. “Travis! You shouldn’t be out of bed.” Trevor has said hoarsely.
“What happened?” Travis had asked.
“I..... Got an e-mail ...... Zoe said......” Trevor broke off.
Travis looked at the computer screen and saw that the screen saver had come on. Reaching out he had bumped the mouse and the e-mail popped up on the screen. Quickly reading it, Travis felt the blood drain from his face. “Oh no.” He looked at Trevor. “I’m so sorry.” he said sitting next to Trevor at the table.
Trevor had nodded, and the two men had sat in the dark, each lost in their own thoughts. Trevor had begun to pray at first silently, but when he heard Travis whispering his own prayer, he had begun praying aloud. They had prayed together all night, and when the sun had risen Trevor realized that Travis had asked Jesus to be his Savior.
It was good news at a very dark moment.
Trevor was jerked back to the present by Shade. “What?” Trevor asked.
“Thanks for getting the coffin. I wouldn’t have thought to do it. I’m glad you thought to get one.”
“Actually, it was Travis who thought of it.” Trevor said.
“I’ll have to thank him.” Shade said. “I’m glad he accepted Jesus.”
“Yeah. Me too.”
It was a short conversation, just like they all had been since Shade had opened the door for Nathan when they had arrived that morning. Nathan had carried Tori in and taken her to her room. Maddie, Zoe and Belle had gone in after he left to prepare her body for burial, and Travis had brought up the need for a coffin. Trevor and Mo had gone into Keyes to the small funeral home and taken one. Trevor didn’t feel bad for stealing the coffin, had actually had thoughts about stealing several more. He had no idea how many they would need before the tribulation was over. Mo had thought the same thing and they had made plans to come back later and grab some more. It was morbid, but also necessary, as they odds of all of them surviving were very slim.
Nathan finally spoke. “I want to thank each of you for coming. You have no idea how much it means to me. Tori loved each and every one of you like family. Travis, I only wish she could know that you had accepted Christ. Who knows. Maybe she does. She’s in heaven with Jesus now and maybe He told her.” Nathan said with a shrug. “Anyway, I just wanted to tell all of you how much it means to me that you are here, and that I love and pray for all of you.” Nathan couldn’t say anymore as his throat closed with tears.
Kristen began to softly sing,
“You’re in a better place, I’ve heard a thousand times
And at least a thousand times I’ve rejoiced for you
But the reason why I’m broken the reason why I cry
Is how long must I wait to be with you
I close my eyes and I see your face
If home’s where my heart is then I’m out of place
Lord won’t you give me strength to make it through somehow
I’ve never been more homesick than now”
Everyone joined in and sang the rest of Mercy Me’s Homesick.

After the completion of the first set of survival packs, Amy sent out an email to the entire address book on her directory. She states...
"We at the shop feel that there will come soon, a time, that we will have to rely on basic human survival. We belive that God is in control as to what happens to us, but also believe that God has put us at the shop in a postion to help as many as we can. We have assembled a backpack that will be delivered to the trib warriors with each delivery made by Bill and Sam. The drive behind the pack is simple. We know there will be a time that things are going to get extreamly tough for those that call upon the name of Christ as savior. We know that there will be a time that we cant buy or sell anymore because we will refuse the mark of the beast in whatever form that actually appears. So we further understand that we must have basic survival needs set up in place. Some will seek shelter in caves, some will seek shelter in the wilderness, but survival is more then just shelter. It also requires, heat, food and water. The survival back packs weigh approximatly 50 lbs. each. We understand that this is alot of weight for you to carry, if needed. But your survival may depend on it someday soon, sooner then we hope. As long as the Lord provides the items necessary we will continue to fill these packs with tools of survival for the trib warriors. Most of the items have been harvested from our area after the rapture to the current time. We also had items donated to us by our good friend Sam and his group. We still continue to do search missions extending our search range on a daily and weekly basis. We strongly encourage all of you reading this email to do the same, until that day comes that we can no longer do this. But until then, we will continue to send out survial packs in hopes that they may save your lives when those days come. Included in the pack are essentials like cotton balls and vasoline. This is a great fire starting tool, We have included a tent, a portable water purifier, a small caliber weapon for hunting small game, and the most important survival resource is a small pocket size version of the bible that we may no sooner be able to obtain. Other items are included as well. There is a completed detailed list printed off and packaged with every kit. If any of you have any ideas on items that can be added. Please feel free to email amy at the shop. And we will definalty look into the plausability of your ideas. With that I pray for each and everyone of you. I pray for our Lords protection upon us all. I also pray that we continue to have the opportunity to reach the lost that more will come to Him before we run out of time. Thank you to all for being such a blessing to us."
In Christ's undying love,
Amy
