Boise City, Oklahoma
Renee sat in Frank’s chair showing him and Tansy what she had done to secure his computer from outside access. From the look on Frank’s face she could tell he was totally lost.
“I guess it’s not important what I did, huh.” She gave a sheepish smile.
“I think it’s cool.” Travis said from behind her.
Renee and Travis had come into town, 1. To secure Frank a secure undetectable internet line, and 2. To get Travis off the ranch. The Global Family Farmers and Ranchers Association was out at the ranch inspecting all the remaining cattle for the GF brand. He couldn’t risk being seen.
He and his deceased partner Albert had been running a scam on the GF FRA. They would visit ranches, count head, talk to the owners, but never say anything about the brand. They had planned later to steal several head of cattle from these same ranches, hide them and butcher them. Then they had planned to sell the meat on the black market. With hamburger selling for over 6.00 Argos a pound and with prices bound to continue to soar, it would have been a very lucrative business.
“Travis!!!”
Travis jerked at hearing his name. He had been so deep in thought he hadn’t heard Renee.
“What?!”
“So you have that list of e-mail addresses?” Renee asked.
“Oh! Yeah” Travis dug it out of his pocket and handed it to her.
As Renee put them into Franks contacts list she told Frank she could give him the exact same set up at his office. “We just need to find a reason for me to come to the Education Center. Any ideas?”
Tansy and Frank looked at each other. “No. The original plan had been that I would sneak Tori in at night, but then...” Frank trailed off.
“We could still do that, can’t we?” Renee asked. She had heard about what had happened to Tori, and although she had only met Tori once, she grieved for her sister in Christ’s loss.
“No. The security fence was finished today. You have to go through the security check at the main gate to get in to the Center now. There are video feeds from all around the fence and, the fence itself is wired with 1000 volts for security at night. It won’t be long before it’s on 24/7.” Frank shook his head. “I really need to find out if there are any Christians left.”
“What about me?” Travis asked.
“What do you mean?” Tansy asked.
“Me. What if I showed up at the Center looking for a job. I could set up your internet. I’m not a genius like Renee, but I think if she went through everything she did and I could do it. Also I could infiltrate the men and find out if there are any brothers in Christ there. It would be easier for me to find out than it would be for you.” Travis finished.
“You have a point. With me being Director the men are more cautious. With you they would be more open when they talk.” Frank nodded. “Get Travis up to speed with what you did. Tansy and I will come out to the ranch in two days.”

To all the trib warriors,
The solar battery systems that we have been building are ready. We will be sending these out with all orders. It is a very simple lightweight system that can be used anywhere. The solar panels that we build are 4'x4' and 2" thick. We made the frame from a lightweight aluminum alloy. The panels are wired directly to a series of batteries. During the testing, we found that as long as there is at least 6 hours of exposure to direct sunlight, the batteries will hold a charge for 36 hours. We plugged many dfferent components into the solar panels and everything from a standard freezer to a small washing machine will run. We encourage everyone that recieves one of these solar systems to place them in a descrete location at your safe camp. Obviously the deeper we get into the tribulation timeline, the more suseptible we become to detection from the GF. We are sending these to allow all the trib warriors to have a form of electical power when the day comes that we all go into hiding.
In the love of our Savior,
Amy and the boys at the shop
PS.. Sam, there is a delivery ready to go to North Dakota when you are capable of picking it up. The order is for a food bank with a band of believers in that area. They will be recieving one of the solar units for their freezers. Bill contacted me and asked me to relay to you that the GF air force is heavy in this area, please be careful. He also wanted me to mention to you that the radar deflection devices that Austin built are working, but be careful because overuse of the device can get you caught as well. The GF is now hunting for pilots not licenced through the GF air association. The coordinates to the destination will be given to you at the time that you pick up the order. We are no longer sending GPS locations over the internet. Its getting too risky and we dont want to give up the locations of any of the trib warriors. We no longer keep any paper files, they have all been destroyed. All locations will be kept by memory only. I know it will be tuff to keep track of all the locations by memory, but this is strictly for the safety of the trib warriors.
God Bless and Good luck,
Amy

Sam and Christina were walking into the main room when Shannon asked Sam to read the latest email from Amy and MD. He turned to Christina, "I will need to head north tomorrow so you can make the plans while I'm gone. Shannon, let MD know that I will be there tomorrow. I will need to talk to Jason to see if he is ready to make the trip to St. Louis. I can drop him off then head on to the shop. Does anyone know where Jason is at the moment?"
Kerri spoke up, "He was working with me in the garden earlier, but I haven't seen him for a while. He was checking the progress on the shed and that's the last time I saw him."
Bud was just walking into the room so Sam asked him if he'd seen Jason. "He went with Steven to check out one of the farms to see if they could find some more supplies for the shed. They should be back any time."
"My gut tells me something is not quite right. Did Steven say which farm they were going to? Sam asked.
"I don't think he said, but Steven can take care of himself. They will be back soon, I'm sure of it," Bud told him.
Sam looked at Bud and motioned for him to go outside with him. He walked away from earshot, "Bud, something is wrong. We should check a few of the farms ourselves. You with me?"
"Sure, but I don't know what could be wrong."
"It's something I can't describe, but something tells me we need to check this out." Christina joined the two men and Sam told her they were going to check a couple of the farms and would be back soon. Sam and Bud backed out onto the road and could see something staring back at them. They looked at each other and Bud reached for his gun. Bud looked back at Sam and yelled, "It's going for Christina, Sam and not us."
The creature looked like something out of a monster movie and was moving quickly toward Christina. It was about ready to pounce when Bud fired a shot. The creature screamed, but the shot did nothing but anger it. He turned his attention to Bud while Christina ran for the cave and safety. She turned to look back and saw Bud raise his gun to shoot and was knocked onto the ground by the creature. Sam was quick to grab the other shotgun, but the creature seemed to sense every move they were going to make. Bud was moving and reaching for his shotgun then as suddenly as he appeared, the creature disappeared. Sam looked at Bud and asked, "You ok?"
"Yeah, but that was the strangest thing I've ever encountered. Maybe we need to find Steven and Jason......now."

“Come on in Captain” Ken stated as he saluted the two marines standing at attention outside the door.
First time Jack had been inside this stateroom, most admiral staterooms were standard size about 20’x20’. This one was as large as the wardroom. A large table with chairs centered the room, with a desk and other chairs off to the side. A door to the right Jack figured was a sleeping quarters and head (Restroom).
“Have a seat; we are waiting on Major Glen Ward. Know him?”
“No sir, is he American?” Jack asked
“Nope, Canadian Forces”
Ken sat at his desk and pulled out a bottle of bourbon with three small glasses. “It’s good to be the Admiral” Ken smiled as he poured half a glass in each.
Jack thought it might be but do the benefits out way the responsibilities? No way, that is why he stayed a Captain; the formal BS was a little less thick at his level. You start putting on stars and people know your hands have been around the table a few times.
“Jack, I want you to be honest with me. No BS, straight shooting. Understand”
“Yes sir” Jack replied setting up in his chair
“Let’s drop the sir thing as well. We are no longer in the US Navy or any Navy for that fact. Yes I guess I’m leading this group but right now we don’t need a bunch of pump to mess us up.”
“OK Ken, I’m onboard with that, behind doors” Jack raised his glass as a gentlemen’s salute.
A tap at the door and a small thin man entered. No more then five and a half feet tall Major Glen Ward could stand and hide behind and sapling without being seen. Jack first thought was that his man was a young boy playing army but soon he changed his mind.
“Major, welcome aboard, this is Captain Jack McCoy, Jack this is Major Glen Ward with the Canadian Royal Special Forces.”
Jack felt the strong grip in the Major’s hand when they shuck and looking into his eyes Jack could tell this man had one heck of a life to tell.
“OK we don’t have much time so let me start” Ken opened up.
The three men sat behind closed doors for about two hours talking and planning the task force plan of action based on what information they had. Up on the main deck looking out over the water towards the small island, had just one sailor looked hard enough they might have spotted Hector Won Garcia but no one did so Hector leaned against the tree with his new powerful spy glasses and counted each ship.
Four days ago, Hector was a small farmer and rancher who gazed his small pitiful heard along the coast line. Now Hector worked for Global Family, his job, twice a day he was to count each vessel and report the number on a small special phone. For this job, Hector was given 50 more cattle, a new stove and one new diehard battery for his truck.
Hector, finished counting then opened the small leather case. Pulling out the phone he entered the total number of ships, 143 and hit the send button. A green light told Hector his job was complete so he placed it back in the case, turned and walked back to his hut. “Stupid American, I would have done this for a simple battery” Hector said laughing. "Tomorrow I will count faster"

Muskogee, Oklahoma
Matt shot Kristen a grin. The people in Tulsa had been as hostile as they had been in Bartlesville so they had quickly moved on to Muskogee. Here most of the places they stopped people seemed eager to hear Kristen's testimony. Matt had done his share of witnessing as well. He had told his own story of salvation and explained who Jesus is to many of them. He had explained what needed to be done to be saved and many had bowed their heads and asked Jesus into their hearts and lives.
They had been invited to stay with a small group of people for the duration of their stay in Muskogee and Matt was grateful. Sleeping in the SUV was cramped to say the least.
Kristen sat talking quietly with an older lady and Matt stretched. His growth spurt had finally come to an end, and he hadn't felt this good in over a month. Grabbing the map out of his bag he sat at the table. Just one more stop and they would head back to Oklahoma City and then to the ranch. He missed his Mom and Dad, Zoe, Trevor and Nathan. He often thought about Tori and his heart ached at the loss of his cousin. Sometimes he wasn't sure that his heart ached because he missed her or that he wished he were home with Jesus too. The tribulation had barely begun and he was already tired. Tired of the hostility that was becoming more apparent each day, especially towards Christians. Crime rates had skyrocketed, rapists and murderers running amok in the streets. Everywhere you went prostitutes no longer waited until dark to sell themselves, they blatantly stood in the middle of traffic and offered their wares.
Matt and Kristen had both been shocked when they witnessed a drug dealer selling cocaine in a grocery store checkout line. There was no hiding it or pretending that it wasn't what it was. He proudly sold his drugs in plain sight of anyone in the store. When they had gotten to the car Kristen asked if they should report him to the police, but at that moment a police cruiser had pulled into the parking lot. The relief that had flooded Matt had quickly turned to rage when he saw the dealer exit the store, walk up the the cruiser and hand over what money he had made. The officer had counted the money, handed some back to the dealer and then handed him a package. The officer had dirven away and the dealer had ripped open the package and small packets of cocaine had fallen to the ground. Quickly the dealer had picked them up and stuffed them into his pockets and walked toward a young couple entering the store. Matt watched in shock as another deal went down.
He had turned to Kristen, "That was an evidence bag."
"What?" Kristen had looked stunned.
"An evidence bag. It's drugs that have been confiscated from drug dealers. The police put it in those bags and seal it for evidence." Matt had been unable to continue. If Gabe were still here he would be having a fit right now. He thought to himself.
Matt had started the car and driven away his hands shaking with anger.
"Matt?"
"Yeah?" Matt brought himself back to the present.
"She accepted Christ." Kristen said with joy.
Matt smiled. "That's great."
"What's wrong?" Kristen asked sitting in the chair next to him.
"Nothing...Everything. We really don't belong here anymore do we? This world is so evil and it's getting worse by the day isn't it?"
"Yes." Kristen nodded. "But as children of God we have His promise that we will go home to Him someday."
"Home." Matt said the word with such longing that it brought tears to Kristen's eyes.

As the meeting between Ken, Jack and Glen was winding down, Ken had a messenger deliver a message to all ships via signal light. “Starting at 2000, each ship will move two spots to new anchorage point. Move schedule will be sent by messenger.”
“So tell me Glen, where you been stationed” Jack asked leaning back in his chair
“Oh mostly in England but a few tours in Africa and the middle east, my command like your Navy Seals moved around to where it best served our leaders”
Jack understood knowing that Glen's job was to take out many problems before they made the newspaper. The three men sat around talking as the bourbon bottle became lighter and lighter.
“So Jack what is your take on the Christian idea?” Ken asked
Jack knew that question was coming and all day he was ready for it but he let his guard down as he dipped his cigar into his drink. Anger wanted to build and call out Ken for playing him into this drinking game, so he would talk looser but something held it down, seeing and remembering Ben and Joe’s face calmed him down and cleared his mind.
“Let me start by saying Captain Daniel Avia the former CO of the Samuel was probably the best sub skipper around. You could see it in his actions as well as his crew. Now that this world has gone mad, I guess I can tell you something you might have known or might not. Did you two know that it was the Samuel of Ramah that launched two missiles that took out Damascus?”
The look on Ken and Glen face told Jack they hadn’t known, so the intel wasn’t as good as he thought.
“How do you know this, I was told that no one knew who launched?” Ken asked setting up in his chair
“I followed the Samuel into the gulf and had her tail just hours before the launch. Afterward and after the big disappearance when the Gettysburg and Samuel met up, Captain Avia told me.”
“Did you report this to higher command?” Ken asked
“Nope, I figured who ever needed to know knew and who didn’t, didn’t” Jack knew he screwed up by not reporting but the damage was done.
“So you feel that this was part of God’s plan as well?” Glen asked
“After hearing Daniel and crew of the Samuel talk and reading the letters that they had, I would have to say yes. Now do I believe everything? The jury is still out but if in the next day, week or month something big happens and Ben can point it out in the bible then you might find me on my knees one day.”
Ken looked at Jack and searched for something anything that would question this Captain mind. Jack was old school and things didn’t rattle this man.
In the back of Ken’s mind a battle was being fought as well, he being raised Catholic always figured he would be in Heaven when he died. This rapture story was one he was never taught, when it came up, it was the radical churches that taught this. Not the one true church. “Well gentlemen, we have our plan let’s do it when the time is right.” Ken stood signaling that the meeting was over and for Jack and Glen to return to their command.
Jack enjoyed the fresh ocean air as he rode the small boat back to the HMS Wales, what did God have in store for him and the crew? He better invite Ben to set down and have a talk.

Having never been in a plane before, Connor was constantly gazing out the window looking at the small squares of land below him. This was just so amazing that he was enjoying the thrill of his life. Bill, happy to see the excitement told Connor to "hold on" as he pushed the throttle and the wheel both forward at the same time, putting the small twin engine aircraft into a straight dive. At the right moment, Bill pulled back on the controls to level the plane to what seemed to be inches off of the earth below. Slowly pulling back the controls and gaining altitude once again. Connor belted out a clear and precise "WOW" with a panic stricken voice. Bill just started to chuckle at the signs of thrill coming from the young boy.
After a few minutes and the excitment settled back down again. Connor asked Bill, "where are we going, you said this was going to be a long flight, but never said where we were going."
Bill answered back, "We have a destination outside of the country down in Aruba. But got the feeling from Amy when she gave me my flight instructions that we would be going much further then that, I just have to wait to hear from her, once we get to Aruba."
"So Connor, tell me about the angel that took you from my arms the day I found you in the woods."
"Well, it's really wierd what happened, the angel took me inside the old farmhouse and it was almost like I was in some kind of wild dream. I know that once you handed me over to the angel, my body didnt hurt no more and I was instantly healed. But then the angel started to show me about things to come, and showed me the things that Jesus went through when he was here on the earth the first time. I didnt believe in Jesus at that time, but after watching him die on the cross and then seeing him transformed to the King of Kings, I couldnt say no any longer. I accepted him as my savior, then the angel started showing me the tribulation and the different things that would happen and I got so scared. I started to cry because of what I saw. The angel was really kind and helped me understand why this was happening. He kept saying that it was all part of God's overall plan, and to be patient, I would understand soon enough. Then before the angel turned me loose, he told me about you and my mom. He told me that God had great plans for you and that I needed to be with you until Jesus comes back for us. Thats when I left the farmhouse. I started walking and it seems like I just left and then I was at the door of the shop. I dont know how I got there. I didnt even know where I was going, I just knew that Jesus was guiding me and I showed up knocking on your door."

MD finished telling Amy about his thoughts of helping that rogue navy fleet. Amy agreed to send out a vague message over the web to see if she would get any kind of response. They both knew that something like this might be risky and decided that they should pray about it before they make a move.
Nodding there heads, MD started..."Dear Father, Creator of all things, Protector of us and all of Your children. We desporately desire to help all of you trib warriors around the world. We have come to this place in our lives and are obedient to your will. Abba, guide us as we put out a general letter to the people seeking you that we may fulfill your will and help them with our services. You have put us in this position to help, and we pray for a hedge of protection as we venture outside of our comfort zone and incorporate the rest of the world into our willingness to serve you. We thank you Father for being our shield and buckler. In Jesus holy name we pray," and they both said AMEN!
Amy, feeling renewed in spirit, spun around in her seat to face the keyboard....
To all of the trib warriors worldwide...
It has been placed upon our hearts here at the shop that some of you, may be in immediate danger from the GF military. We are praying for you fervently, and have asked for the Lords guidence. If you are recieving this email, the Lord has directed it to you. We are a small machine shop, with foundry capability. And the Lord has put it on us that you may be in need of some of the services that we offer. If you get this email and feel that that the Lord is guiding you to us, please respond by contacting me personally at MDAmy@machining.com and we will be in touch with you immediatley. Please be advised that we are in a very dangerous world now, and all emails and corrispondance can be intercepted and used against us, so be vague with your initial request until we can verify your authenticity and set up dialogue on a secure server. We know that there are dark forces at play, but just remember. The final chapter is already written and it says that WE WIN!!!
God bless all of the trib warriors,
Amy and the boys at the shop.

The road seemed rougher than in the past and Sam hit so many ruts Bud was complaining constantly. "Hey, man.....you are making my stomach hurt. Can you take it a little easier?" asked Bud.
Sam shot Bud a stern look, "I'm in a hurry, cut me some slack."
"Sorry, Sam, I just don't remember this road being this bad. Whatever we saw back there was the scariest thing I've ever seen. You would have to call it a thing. It was a cross between a very scrawny dog and a small bear, but a WHOLE lot uglier than either," Bud moaned to Sam.
"I guess we will need to set alarms around the perimeter so it will alert us to something like this showing up. Unless it's smart and can elude the alarms. We may have to contend with things like this until the end and Jesus takes us home," Sam said with a weary voice.
He turned the corner and could see Steven's truck in the drive of the farmhouse. Bud gave Steven a look that said he was feeling apprehensive, too. They parked beside the truck and both got out and started walking around the grounds when they spotted a figure lying on the ground. Bud picked up speed and drew his shotgun getting ready to fight whatever was out there. When he got to the figure he saw Steven lying motionless. He bent down beside him and felt for a pulse. He told Sam, "He has a steady pulse, but he's beaten and scratched pretty badly. We need to get him out of here. Have you spotted Jason?"
Sam started walking toward the woods and finally spotted Jason. He was sitting against a tree with his eyes wide open and a look of fear shown on his face. He was alive, but probably in a state of shock. Sam stooped beside Jason, "Son, are you alright? Can you tell me what happened to Steven?"
Jason looked at Sam and tears welled in his eyes, "It was the scariest thing I've ever seen. I can't begin to tell you how ugly this thing was and he picked Steven up and tossed him around like a rag. Steven tried fighting back, but it was too strong. I don't think it wanted to kill Steven, but it hissed and growled while slapping him around.......then.....he lost consciousness."
"Come on, we need to get Steven back to the cave and dress his wounds. We saw the creature close to the cave so we will have to take better precautions until we can rid ourselves of this thing!" Sam said as he helped Jason to his feet.
They joined Bud and the three lifted Steven's body and carried him to the van. Jason climbed in the back seat beside Steven and they set out for the safety of the cave. As Sam put the van in reverse the thing came at them hitting the side of the van causing it to almost overturn. Sam floored the van and the creature jumped on top of the van. They could hear it banging on the roof and hissing loudly. Sam turned the opposite way from the road leading to the cave and headed toward the river. He couldn't drive back to the cave with the creature hanging onto the roof of the van. He hit a big rut in the road and the van rocked to and fro slamming Bud up against the door. The creature was still banging on the roof and they could see a huge bulge forming. Sam looked at Bud and could see the fear in his eyes. "Sam, this thing isn't going away," he said with a hoarse voice.
"I will get rid of it or die trying!" Sam exclaimed.
He turned the van quickly hoping to dislodge the creature from the roof and they could see it slide off to one side and look through the window at them. Sam slammed on the brakes and the creature went flying through the air. It recovered quickly and stood on it's hind legs and began to roar. Sam stared into the creatures eyes. He knew what to do, but he would have to act quickly.

Andrew unlocked the door to his apartment and looked around as if Claire would suddenly appear. He knew she wouldn't and the thought of her being gone was tearing him a part. He set his briefcase on the desk and poured himself a scotch and water then fell onto the couch. What was the use in trying to live with Claire gone? Her picture was on the table next to the couch and he finally had to lay it face down because he couldn't bare looking at it any longer. He put his head in his hands and wept as he did every night since the disappearances. She had tried to warn him, but he just wasn't ready to commit to religion. Claire had said over and over again, "Drew, it's not religion, it's belief in God and His Son, Jesus Christ. God sent His only Son to tell humans the truth of God's love for us and He gave His life so that we might live. You only have to ask, Drew, and salvation is yours." She had begged him and spent many nights crying because he refused to listen.
He felt something in the room with him and knew IT was back. "Go away," he muttered.
It came close to his face, "You just need a drink and find yourself another woman then you will be fine," it growled.
Andrew stood up and walked to the table and poured another drink and turned to IT and said, "You are getting on my nerves with your constant growling and pestering me. I don't want you around me and would like for you to leave me alone. I do believe in God and you...you.... skinny, nasty, smelling, and very ugly little THING have no business here any longer."
IT laughed, "Ahh, but you do want me and your drink. Me thinks you are just a bit too late to tell me to leave."
Andrew threw the drink against the wall and began crying, "God, hear my plea. I want to change and I will do whatever it takes to make this monster leave me forever. I want to be with Claire. I want to be with You and Your Son." He fell on the floor crying and IT watched as he cried himself to sleep. IT hissed at the man, "You have done the same thing every night for months and nothing has changed. Your God doesn't love you or want you. But we want you and love you. Don't we master? We will have you, too."
Andrew dreamed again of Claire dressed all in white standing in the brightest light he had ever seen. When she spoke, it was if she was singing her words. She told him how much she loved him and she was waiting for him. You only have to believe and ask Jesus to be your savior. Ask, Andrew. Ask, Jesus for forgiveness......we are waiting, Andrew.

Slowly Sam opened the door and stood facing the creature. His eyes stared deeply into the eyes of the creature. Sam showed no fear. He lifted his eyes to the heavens and called out, "Father, we humbly ask for Your protection. This creature was not created by You and it is not from You which it comes, but it is of the evil one that now controls the earth. We gave our lives to You, our Heavenly Father, and it is to You we are trusting to give us the strength and courage to fight all that comes before us. In the name of our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ, we pray."
He lowered his head to once again gaze into the eyes of the creature. The creature seemed to be frozen in its tracks. Sam raised his arms and said, "In the name of Jesus Christ we command you to leave this place."
The creature covered its ears and didn't make a move. Again Sam called on Jesus to remove the creature and the creature screamed as if in pain. Sam stood firm and trusted his savior that no harm would come to him or his companions. He continued staring into the creatures eyes, but the creature made no movement. Bud was watching Sam and was awed by what he was witnessing. He turned to Jason and said, "You are seeing what it means to put your trust in God and His son, Jesus. Sam has put his life, his faith, and trust in God to protect him from this monster. Now you can actually see the power of our God. If you had a doubt, it should be washed away forever."
The creature turned its head from side to side and made a slight movement toward Sam then it stopped once again as if sizing up the situation. It lifted its head and let out a scream that almost deafened Sam. It made one step forward and again its head was tossed about and the deafening scream came from its mouth. With every movement it screamed. Sam stood perfectly still and cried out, "Lord, Mighty King, Savior of the world, Immanuel holy is Your name. Jesus Christ the son of God and my only master." The creature held his ears and screamed in pain. Sam continued staring at the creature and chanting, "Jesus is our Lord. He came to seek and to save that which was lost. Jesus the King of the Jews. Master of all."
The creature leaped into the air with a loud scream, "Death to you."

The Fed Ex truck rumbled up the mountain road headed for the observatory. Stu had been given the week off and he wanted to surprise George with an unexpected visit. They talked almost every day and he knew George had not been relieved in almost 2 months from his duty. Dark clouds were rolling in as he made his way up to the final curve before the staight up road appearred that would take him about 20 minutes to climb. He had gone home before starting this trip and had loaded up with everything he would need for the next week including his scedule for the following week in case he stayed longer than he had planned. And being with George that just might be the case. He had also picked up a weeks worth of groceries knowing Georges supplies would be getting low.
As he reached near the top of the road he could see the top of the observatory. He could'nt wait to get there and tell George what had happened to him since they had last seen each other. As he approached the entrance he could see the gate was wide open. That wasnt like George. He always locked up at night and there werent any other cars around as he drove in. His heart began to beat fast when he noticed all the shields down on the windows. The closer he got he began to slow to a crawl. Glass had been shattered and dubree was all over.
Slamming the truck in park, he jumped and ran the rest of the way to the door his heart racing. The door was locked.

Leon opened his eyes the moment he heard the high pitched demonic laughter. One of the creatures was hopping and dancing around on the ceiling. Leon squinted bringing the creature into focus. It began to twirl and spin in circles and another creature laughed at it's antics.
"Oh isn't it glorious Anger. The hopelessness, the anger and hatred that fills the earth. It's intoxicating. I love seeing all of humanity fall."
"Not all of them have fallen!!" Anger screeeched. "There are those among the remaining that are a danger to Lucifer's plan. We must destroy those who would defy him. Even now there are those who preach the word of Jehovah."
Addiction stopped in his tracks. "He's awake." His voice trembling with excitement. His eyes fixed on Leon.
Anger moved quickly, so quickly Leon hadn't realized that he had moved. He heard whispering in his ear, but none of it made any sense. "Get away from me!" Leon shouted.
The two creatures fell back. "You can see us?"
"Yes, and you're still ugly." Leon said as he got up.
The two creatures looked at each other. Puzzled they each cocked their heads as they gazed at Leon.
Leon glared back.
"You shouldn't be able to see us." One of the creatures singsonged. It began to bob it's head as if in time to some unheard tune. The other creature began to jump around the room.
"Well I can. I wish I couldn't because you guys have faces even your mother couldn't stomach."
Anger swooped across the room and got right in Leon's face. "How dare you insult us!!"
"Uggg!! You guys stink too. Like rotten eggs!!" Leon made gagging noises, and then he began to laugh.
"He's still high. That must be why he can see us." Addiction said.
Anger narrowed his eyes. "Yes, yes he is. It makes him very suceptible to us." With a gleam in his eye he called out. "Despair!"
Another creature appeared and with a hideous smile approached Leon.
"Why do you fight what you are. You are nothing. No one cares about you. You are alone." Despair whispered.
"No. Belle cares." Leon answered.
"Does she? Where is she? Why is she not here with you?" Despair whispered.
"She cares. I know she does. I ran away."
"Yes, you did. You ran because you know you are unworthy of love." Despair looked him in the eye. "You know it's the truth."
"Belle loves everyone. I know she loves me." Leon insisted as tears filled his eyes.
"If she loves you, then why is she not looking for you? Why has she not come here? She hasn't even tried to find you, you know. She doesn't even think about you." Despair insisted.
"Yes she does." Leon whispered brokenly. Doesn't she? What if she has forgotten about me? Leon thought to himself.
"She has forgotten you." Despair said.
"No!!!" Leon shouted. Jumping up he ran outside and got into his car. Twisting the key viciously he started it and threw it into drive, leaving tread marks as he drove away.

Andrew opened his eyes and looked around the room and gave a sigh of relief when he didn't spot IT in the room. That thing was really getting on his nerves plus he left a smell that never seemed to leave the room, but he didn't see or smell IT. He remembered his dream and how beautiful Claire had looked. He thought, "I wish it wasn't a dream and she was here with me. I want what she had and I really want to be a part of the Kingdom of God."
The sweetest voice he had ever heard began to whisper in his ear, "It's not too late, Drew. You can still give your life to Christ. Ask for forgiveness of your sins and invite him into your heart."
"Claire, is that you? Oh, I want that more than anything. I want to be able to be with you throughout eternity. Yes, I want to be in the presence of God. Claire, it's as though we are seeing what hell will be like and I don't want to go there. I want to take that step and ask for salvation," Andrew cried in anguish.
"My darling, you still have time. Just ask. Jesus is waiting for you to call on Him."
Suddenly IT appeared. The smell was more than he could stand and he immediately turned away from the ugliness. That's what sin is.....UGLY. Andrew began to pray, "Jesus, I'm sorry for not accepting the truth and not asking You to save me. Jesus, come into my heart and forgive me of my sins. I want to be with You. You are God's only Son who died so that I might live and Jesus, I do so much want to spend all eternity in Your presence. I don't want to live a life in darkness and sin. Lord, Jesus I want what Claire and my Mother had. Amen."
IT starting hissing and spinning about the room. "You need a drink, Andrew. You need to be in control. Don't think for a minute He hears you. No one loves you like the master."
Andrew turned to look at IT and felt a surge in his heart that gave him new found courage, "You smell and the evil you represent is nothing I want now or EVER! Jesus is my Master and you are a liar. God's Son cared enough to die for me and that's something you will never have. Get out of here NOW."
IT shrunk back in the corner, but refused to leave. "You don't understand, we are in control of humans and it is you that want us and what we can give you."
Andrew said in a quiet, but forceful voice, "No, it is you that doesn't understand. You might convince some humans, but not this one. You've been an irritant for months and you no longer belong here. In the name of Jesus Christ LEAVE."
The room began to spin and Andrew felt his legs collapse. He lay in the floor in a heap and it was as if the breath had been knocked from him. He gasped for air and fell into unconsciousness. IT glared down upon him, "You will not have control of this one."

Leon saw the town in the distance. His shoulders slumped as he realized that he had several miles to walk. This had not been a good day. First waking up to see those vile creatures again, then realizing that he had once again gotten high and done who knows what. Then letting those creatures get to him and running away, jumping into a car that would run out of gas miles from the nearest town. "Stupid." Leon muttered to himself.
He started walking the road blurring and shifting in front of him. He was still high he realized as he heard laughter behind him. He turned his head and saw four creatures skipping behind him, their long teeth bared and nails clicking. He could hear them whispering, but the words ran over each other.
"Leave me alone!!" Leon shouted as he turned back toward the road.
"Leave me alone." One of the creatures mimicked, as another ran past him and darted up a telephone pole. Leon watched as the creature sprinted on the wires between two poles. It then dropped and caught the wire with it's long fingered hands and began to swing back and forth. It was then that Leon noticed that the wire showed no indication that anything was on it. The wire didn't move.
"Am I hallucinating?" He rubbed his eyes and when he looked back at the wire. The creature still hung there it's ghastly features twisted into what Leon assumed was supposed to be a smile.
"Am I hallucinating?" Another creature mimicked him again as it darted between his feet like a cat. The closer the creature got the smaller it seemed to get, but then it would seem huge.
"I'm losing my mind!" Leon was beginning to panic. He took several stumbling steps when he felt a push from behind. He went sprawling in the ditch as his back began to burn where the creature had pushed him. He jumped up and began to run. He could hear maniacal laughter behind him and then the sound of pursuit. Something got caught around his feet sending him sprawling again. Leon quickly rolled over and reached down to untangle his feet when he saw the snake. It seemed to smile at him and click it's fangs together as if in anticipation. Leon screamed as he saw the mouth gape open getting wider and wider as the snakes head began udulate.

Matt drove down the road softly humming under his breath. Kirsten sat in the passengers seat her head leaned against the window. She looked tired but happy. Muskogee had been wonderful after the rejection they had endured in Tulsa and Bartlesville. With a soft smile Kristen began to close her eyes when she saw something in the ditch.
"What's that?" She sat up pointing.
Matt narrowed his eyes. "It looks like a person." Quickly hitting the brakes Matt brought the car to a stop next to the struggling figure in the ditch. He could hear screaming before he even opened the door.
Kristen opened her door and hopped to the ground.
"Wait!" Matt shouted as he opened his door and ran around the front of the SUV. "We don't know what's going on here. This could be a trap or something."
Kristen nodded and hung back as Matt slowly approached the struggling screaming figure in the ditch. He saw that it was a man, a very thin, sickly pale man. Looking him over Matt took another step closer and saw the wire tangled around the mans feet. Attatched to the wire was a tin can and it bobbed and weaved as the man struggled. The man continued to scream, "Get away from me. Leave me alone." His hands slapping at the can.
Kristen knelt down next to Matt and reached for the wire to try and untangle the mans legs.
The man looked up and stared at Kristen's face. His eyes widened and his mouth opened. "No!!!!! Please no!!!! I'm sorry!!!!" Then his eyes rolled back in his head and he passed out.
Kristen sat frozen her hands still on the wire.
"Kristen?!" Matt asked anxiously. "Kristen. What's wrong?" He gently nudged her.
Kristen turned shocked eyes to Matt. "It's Leon."

IT circled Andrew frantically jumping up and down, holding its ears and moaning. "I will not listen. You don't own me. I will not leave." IT continually jumped around Andrew when suddenly IT was thrown against the wall wailing in pain. IT started screeching and cursing whatever was attacking it. Andrew opened his eyes and could make out the creature writhing in anguish spewing every curse word the human mind had created. IT turned to look at Andrew and lunged at him, but again IT was thrown against the wall. IT was fighting an unseen force then IT screamed, "You do not control me. I belong to the master." The creature's eyes were blood red and bulging from their sockets, hands were flying around out of control with something oozing from its mouth. IT was trying to put its hands over its ears, but the hands were out of control......IT was out of control. IT was being thrashed about the room and there was nothing IT could do to stop the force that was controlling it. Andrew watched as the creature finally fell onto the floor exhausted from the battle. Andrew rose to his feet and looked at IT then said, "You do not have any business here. I don't want what you have to give. My Lord has spoken and you have no control over me."
IT struggled to move, but was quickly overcome with another round of beatings. IT fell silent and all its power was stripped....IT became a pile of dust as Andrew ran to get the vacuum cleaner and rid himself of IT. He whispered, "Jesus, thank you for freeing me of my sins."

Sam made no attempt to move out of the way of the creature lunging at him. He had no fear because he knew in his heart that no matter what happened he would still have Jesus with him.
The creature fell beside Sam limp, unable to do anything other than moan. Sam looked back at Bud and called out, "You see how the Lord handles evil. Evil has no control over the Lord and His power is the mightiest."
The creature weakened and groaning in defeat looked up at Sam trying to find a way to get to him. It kept trying to gather enough strength to stand, but fell back unable to move. Sam gloated, "You have lost! You and all the evil that is in the world will lose. God is the supreme being and nothing or anything can surpass His power of all creatures both great and small. Your master knows his time is short and he can send things like you until the end of time, BUT you and your master are doomed." Sam managed a smile and the creature shrunk back then Sam raised his head to the heavens and laughed, "You are a pitiful soul. All who sin against God are pitiful.....you are finished."
The creature disappeared from sight and Sam said, "Thank you, Lord for your protection."
He walked back to the van and as he opened the door he saw Steven sitting up in the seat without one scratch on his body. "Good work, friend. Our Lord has rid of us of the evil that stalked us."
"Steven, it's so good to see you again.......God blessed us today. We shall lift our hearts to the One who is the keeper of our very souls. Evil will be coming at us more and more and we must keep our faith strong. We have to show evil that it has no place in our world because we are not of this world. God is totally in control and that's the way it must be until we are taken home to be with Him for eternity. Be strong in your faith," Sam exclaimed.
Bud let out a huge sigh, "Well, if I was a betting man, I would have bet on you just because you stood up to that thing. It was so darn ugly that I will have nightmares for weeks."
Sam laughed, "We all know that sin is ugly and when evil rears its ugly head, it can be a truly smelly and disgusting sight. Man, can you just imagine having that thing around and the smell......."
Sam started the van and headed back to the cave. They had quite a story to tell everyone.
