Andrew locked his office door and logged into his secure site and began reading his email from Jerome. He knew there would be a select few that would have the confidence of Teodor and that could explain why he hadn't received direct orders regarding anyone not showing true alliance to the GF. He was desperately trying to remember the soldiers name that Claire had taken a liking to and had talked for hours about Jesus and how He died on the cross for us. Had he been taken in the rapture? Claire was sure he was on the edge of asking for forgiveness and turning his life over to Christ. He would search his files and try to find the name. Two years ago the young man had been his assistant and Andrew had taken him to the house for dinner a few times and he and Claire had hit if off immediately. Why couldn't he remember his name?
He decided to email Jerome with his idea.
Jerome,
I have an idea how to get Bill a plane and if it should work out, he would be able to fly under the radar plus have information regarding any GFAF planes in his area. I am trying to find a young soldier that was once my assistant that would possibly be able to assist us. When this young man left me he was going into the pilot's training school and should have gotten his wings by this time. When I know something further I will let you know. I am trying to catch up on all the reports and see if I missed something regarding any new orders to handle those that resist aligning with the GF. God bless you and your faithfulness.
In Christ,
Andrew

Storms had raged all night and Christina had slept very little. Sam had left shortly after the wedding to return Bill and Connor to the shop. She was understanding, but it was not how she pictured her wedding night. Sam had called that he would be returning later in the day because he had to wait for the storms to subside. She had plenty to keep her busy until his return. They were trying to get the boxes of supplies ready for the next shipment. She slowly made her way to the big room where everyone was gathered for Bible study and prayer.
Shannon and Kerri were quietly talking about the baby moving so much that Shannon was unable to rest. They would need to get to the clinic for her next appointment to make sure all was as it should be. Shannon laid her hand on her growing belly and softly said, "Baby, you are such a blessing. You will be loved beyond measure." Kerri heard her and gave her a tight squeeze.
"We are truly blessed. I am so grateful to have good friends that will help us. We've been through so much in the last few months and yet, I feel blessed to know we will be with Christ for all eternity. We don't have long until we see this little guy," Kerri said with a smile.
Shannon gave him a wink, "Little guy? You think this baby is a boy. One that will look just like you? You just might get a big surprise. We will know when we go to the clinic next week."
Alexis sat at the computer reading the latest weather reports so she could let Sam know what to expect for his return flight. She would need to email Amy the latest reports. No storms in the immediate area, but more would be coming in the next 24 hours. Colorado was experiencing thunderstorms and Montana was getting snow. How weird for snow this time of year. She sent the email and joined the group for Bible study.
Bud and Linda sat together while Amy snuggled next to Linda. Amy barely left Linda's side and had said several times how much she missed Jason. She had worked diligently and was now learning to cook so she could help Linda with some of her duties.
Steven cleared his throat, "We need to remember to pray for Sam as he flies back to us. God has truly blessed all of us with resources that will see us through some very tough times. In the coming months we eagerly await the birth of Shannon and Kerri's child and pray for continued good health for them. Please pray for me as I try to lead this time of study for as you all know I am not a Bible scholar. Now if you will turn with me to Revelation 12, we will begin our study of God's word."

“Sir, we never got a reply to our e-mail to that supply group?” Edwards told Lt Girardeau
“Hmm, let me see the first one again, maybe we missed something that spooked them.”
Edwards pulled out the file drawer then thumped through pages of messages until he found the one he was looking for. “Here sir”
The Lt. re-read the email once again, folded it up and walked out of the room and headed for the bridge. Entering the bridge, Lt Girardeau went to the Officer of the Deck and asked to use the bridge to bridge radio so he could talk to one of the other ships. As long as it was not top secret it was fine.
“Reagan calling the Wales Over”
“Reagan bridge calling the Wales bridge over”
“Wales copy over”
“Wales this is the Reagan, would like for your Weapons Officer to return to the Reagan over”
“Copy Reagan, what time over”
“Soon as possible over”
“Copy, send barge over for pick up, will inform CO, over”
“Copy, Reagan out”
“Wales out”
Ben had been in his room when the message arrived telling him he was wanted back aboard the Reagan. Maybe St. John wanted him to talk to the whole crew about Jesus, that would be cool he thought. Ben grabbed his jacket and headed for the main deck. Being on a new boat it took a few walks around the thing to get your bearings so by the time Ben found his way up on the conning tower, the barge was already alone side waiting on him.

On the Ranch
Zoe answered the phone to hear Kristen and Matt arguing. “Hey you two!! I said hello.”
“Oh, sorry Zoe.” Matt answered. “I was just calling to let you know we will be heading back to the ranch here in a little bit. Also we will be bringing several guests with us. It’s a long story so I’ll give you the short version. The estate here has been threatened by some of Mo and Raul’s former gang members and they need to get out of Dodge.”
“Ok. How many are coming?” Zoe waved Shade, Maddie, Nathan and the rest and put the phone on speaker.
“Well it’s gonna be Belle, Raul and Mo. The rest of them have decided to go out and preach the gospel.”
Ok. We’ll be expecting you later tonight then?” Shade asked.
The only answer he got was to hear Matt and Kristen shouting at each other. “He’s going with us whether you like it or not, so just tell them.” He heard Kristen shout.
“Oh no he’s not. I don’t want that guy anywhere near you or my family.” Matt shouted right into the phone.
“Matt!! What in the word are you two arguing about!!??” Maddie asked.
Both kids ignored her and kept arguing.
Trevor and Zoe looked at each other. They had never heard Matt shout at Kristen and they had certainly never heard Kristen sound so vehement.
“Who are they talking about?” Nathan asked.
Renee and Ryan had started to grin as the argument reminded them of their own sibling squabbles. Becca elbowed Ryan but soon she was grinning too.
“Matt!!” Shade shouted.
“What??!!” Matt shouted back.
“Who are you two arguing about?”
“What did he say?” Shade heard Kristen ask.
“He wants to know who we’re arguing about.” Matt answered.
“Give me the phone.” Shade heard Kristen say.
“No way!” Matt shouted.
They began shouting at each other again, and Maddie decided that a mothers touch was needed. “Someone had better tell us what is going on or heads are gonna roll when you get home.” She threatened both Matt and Kristen.
“Kristen wants to bring…Ouch!!!”
Kristen suddenly came on the line. “We’re bringing Leon with us.”
“Who?” Becca asked.
Everyone stared at the phone trying to figure out who Leon was when suddenly Trevor shouted. “Oh no you’re not young lady.”
Zoe’s eyes widened when she remembered who Leon was. Shade was the next to remember. “Kristen…” He started.
“If Leon isn’t allowed at the ranch, then I’m not coming back either.” Kristen interrupted. She knew that Shade loved her like a father and could even understand him not wanting a man who had abused her anywhere near her, but the Lord was pressing on her heart to help Leon, and she would not deny the Lord. “Shade I love you, but this is something I need to do. The Lord put him in my path for a reason, I just know it.”
Shade looked up at the ceiling, his fists clenched. “Kristen….” He trailed off.
Kristen stayed silent on the other end of the line. She knew Shade would do the right thing, he just need a moment to gather his thoughts. The line remained silent for several minutes as she prayed and waited.
“Ok. But he stays in our old house. Not in the main house.” Shade finally answered.
Trevor erupted in denials as well as Zoe.
Kristen ignored both Zoe and Trecor. “Thank you Shade.”
“Are you sure Kristen?” Maddie asked gently.
“Yes, I’ve never been so sure of anything, other than Jesus and your love for me.” Kristen said honestly.
“Ok then. We’ll get the little house ready.” Maddie said. She heard Matt grousing in the background as Kristen hung up.
“Who is Leon?” Becca asked.
Zoe answered, “He’s one of the guys who abused Kristen.”
The house was dead silent.

“Ben Shmona I’m Mike Girardeau, I would like you to read this email we received and get your take on it. You are the bible expert right?”
“Expert, no but lately I have read it over and over”
“That is good enough for me” Mike said
“Are you sure? I take it your not a Christian”
“Mr. Shmona, my father is a Mormon, my mother is a Mormon, and my whole family is Mormons. I just live to make a pay check”
“Sorry, but in less than seven years the world will end and your choice would have been wrong.”
“Ya, ya I heard all that before, just read the email and tell me what your take is”
Ben took the copy of the email and read it.
To: All of the trib warriors worldwide...
It has been placed upon our hearts here at the shop that some of you, may be in immediate danger from the GF military. We are praying for you fervently, and have asked for the Lords guidance. If you are receiving this email, the Lord has directed it to you. We are a small machine shop, with foundry capability. And the Lord has put it on us that you may be in need of some of the services that we offer. If you get this message and feel that that the Lord is guiding you to us, please respond by contacting me personally at MDAmy@machining.com and we will be in touch with you immediately. Please be advised that we are in a very dangerous world now, and all emails and correspondence can be intercepted and used against us, so be vague with your initial request until we can verify your authenticity and set up dialogue on a secure server. We know that there are dark forces at play, but just remember. The final chapter is already written and it says that WE WIN!!!
God bless all of the trib warriors,
Amy and the boys at the shop.
“Wow, this is great, have you made contact with them yet?” Ben smiled
“We tried but no reply yet; I was thinking maybe our reply might have scared them off.”
“Why what did you said?” Ben almost started to raise his voice. Here was the first time that he saw that others like him and the crew had people who believed in Jesus and the stories in the bible.
“I didn’t Admiral St. John sent a message; he said it was the Lords prayer.”
“Hmm, let me read his message please.”
“Come up to radio central” Mike replied
Both men headed up the many ladders to the top of the superstructure.
On the way, Ben hoped and prayed that they, he didn’t lose this connection to real Christians who would know and understand the bible better then him.

Ben read the message. “Not being an expert but it looks like he butchered the Lords Prayer.”
“Well what can we do” Lt. Girardeau asked
“Let try re-sending a new one” Ben thought for a second then started to write.
Brothers and sisters of the cross,
We have received your message with praise and look forward to a Pentecost reunion. Many here have walked the road to Damascus and now have our eyes open. Like Galatians, we look forward to your letters.
Signed
Paul2
“What does all that mean” Mike asked Ben
“Just a message that hopeful the Lord will use to bridge the gap between us and them”
“How long should we wait for an answer?”
“As long as it takes, God still works in his time frame not ours. Remember we lost out the first go around.”
“Lost out? Lost what”
“Mike you have a few hours to kill”
“Sure, but don’t try turning me into a bible thumper”
Ben smiled, “I will not I promise, I don’t have that type of power”

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Matt was furious. He watched Mo and Raul help Leon into their SUV, and saw Kristen watching them carefully. She made sure to stay just out of Leon’s line of sight, but still close enough that she could keep an eye on him. Every time Leon saw Kristen the wailing and screaming would begin, so she tried to stay out of his line of sight so as not to upset him.
Matt walked over to Kristen. “So, they’ve got him loaded up, lets get on the road.”
Kristen shot Matt a furious glare. “What is your major malfunction?”
Matt quirked his brow. “MY malfunction? What’s yours?”
“You are such a jerk. Can’t you see he needs help?” Kristen was trying not to shout.
“I don’t care. He hurt you Kristen, and now you’re acting like all is forgiven.”
Kristen took a long breath. “It is. Jesus said,
Mat 18:21 Then Peter came to Him and said, Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me and I forgive him? Until seven times?
Mat 18:22 Jesus said to him, I do not say to you, Until seven times; but, Until seventy times seven.
And he also said, Mat 5:39 But I say to you, Do not resist evil. But whoever shall strike you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also. And Mat 5:7 Blessed are the merciful! For they shall obtain mercy.
Matt couldn’t think of anything to say. Kristen’s ability to memorize scripture continually amazed him. He knew she was right, but his dislike for Leon and what he had done to Kristen churned in his belly.
Kristen took Matt’s silence as a sign that he was unwilling to try to forgive Leon. “Look, think about what Jesus said. I’m gonna ride with Skunk.” Kristen ran over to Skunk and Matt saw Skunk look over at him with a questioning look so Matt nodded. Skunk then looked back at Kristen and nodded his head, and Kristen climbed into the passenger’s seat.
Matt climbed behind the wheel of his SUV as he watched Belle get into the SUV that Leon was in. He saw the elderly lady wrap her arms around the man. With a shake of his head, Matt started the car and followed Raul and Mo as they led the way out of the estate. It was going to be a long lonely ride back to the ranch in the car by himself.

Andrew rose from his chair and unlocked the door to find Jason standing there. He sighed heavily and asked, "Did you run out of something to do?"
"No, sir. I was asked to sit in for SPC Lucas and was just letting you know I was here until he is able to return," Jason answered.
"Ok. I have a lot of reports to read so please hold all calls unless it's an emergency. Thank you," Andrew told him and shut the door locking it.
He couldn't afford Jason just walking in as he did earlier. He logged into the main system and began searching his old files for the name he couldn't remember. "Why can't I remember his name? He was so important to Claire and I really liked him, too. Lord, I don't understand this loss of memory all of a sudden. Please, Lord, help me find a way to find him and to get a plane for Bill. Your power is beyond measure and Your plan is always perfect when mine is flawed. I ask that You give me the wisdom to know what I should do. In Christ name I pray."
He logged into the commander's site and there it was new directives from the Admiral. It was lengthy, but left no doubt where the GFM was heading and it wasn't good.
1. Any and all aircraft not announcing destination, business, alliance with the GF, or flying an unidentified aircraft will be shot down without exception.
2. Anyone that rebels against the GF will be sent to camps for further evaluation and those not signing an allegiance with the GF will be brought before a council to decide their fate.
3. Any commander showing favor to rebels will be removed immediately from their post pending revue and sentencing for their insubordination.
4. All vessels will turn their carriers, subs, and ships over to the command of the GFN or be sunk where they sit.
5. Any officer refusing to obey the commands of the GFM will be sentenced to death.
These regulations are effective immediately and will not be waved. Anyone committing treason will be sentenced to death. Treason being anyone not conforming to the laws and regulations put forth by GF and the GFM.
Andrew rubbed his forehead and sighed, "Well, there it is. No more secrets or could there be more ahead? Of course, there will be more and it will be directed at the Christians."
He signed out of the website and immediately sent an email to Jerome.

On the Ranch
Shade and Trevor had worked out the new living arrangements. Trevor, Leon, Mo, Skunk and Raul would all stay at Maddie and Shade’s old house. It was a small house with only two bedrooms and a mile across pasture land from the main house, but it would have to do until the time came to head to Patterson’s hideout.
Shade had thought about moving Ryan to the other house, but then decided against it. His concern with Ryan was the way him and Becca were constantly together. After having pulled Ryan to the side and having ‘the talk’ with him, he had decided for now he and Becca could reside in the main house together.
Travis would be going to Boise City in another couple of days so Matt’s room would clear out with Travis and Trevor both gone. Nathan would stay with Matt, and Kristen and Zoe would room together. Renee and Becca would share a room, and of course he and Maddie would have their own room. Belle would have a room to herself, and the dining room would stay the medical room.
Trevor and Shade went over the plans again when Trevor pointed out that there may be a problem with Renee and Nathan staying in the same house together.” I don’t know Shade, those two are tying to avoid each other and they bicker when they are in the same room.”
Shade ran his hand through his hair. “They will just have to learn to get along. I know space is tight, but we have to make this work as best we can. “
Maddie spoke up. “I don’t think it’s so much a problem as them not getting along, it’s that they like each other and are trying to hide it from each other.”
Shade looked surprised and Trevor shook his head. “I don’t think that’s it.” Trevor said.
Maddie gave a knowing grin. “There are none so blind as those who refuse to see. Watch them. They like each other and are fighting it.”
Shade looked at Trevor. “Just what I need. A house full of kids falling in love with each other.” He looked at Maddie, “Is anybody else in love with someone I don’t know about?”
“I’ll keep an eye out for floating hearts above heads.” Maddie promised solemnly, then started humming the wedding march as she went to the kitchen.
Trevor roared with laughter.

Boise City, Oklahoma
Frank hung up the phone. His mother was on her way to Shade and Maddie’s ranch. Relief flooded his body that his mother was ok. She had called to let him know what had happened in Oklahoma City, and the horror of how close his mother had come to being murdered had struck him speechless. He knew his mother had a heart condition and expected to lose her at some point in the near future, but the thought of her being murdered shook him to his core. “Thank the Lord that His hand of protection was over you.” He had told her.
He stared at his phone as he pondered the rest of the conversation. “So have you asked Jerome if he is a Warrior for Christ yet?” Belle had a way of getting to the point when she wanted to. He question had come out of the blue while he was still trying to absorb the attempt on her life.
“No. He’s Teodor’s right hand man, I can’t just up and ask him.” Frank had tried to explain.
“Well you can’t just sit on pins and needles waiting for him to volunteer the information. Son, I love you, and I worry about you being the only believer in that so called Education Center. You need someone to watch your back.”
Frank then explained about Travis and the plan to use him to see if the crew he had left were believers.
“Well I still think you should ask Jerome if he believes in Jesus.”
Frank spun his chair and looked out the window. Ask Jerome a potentially deadly question he mulled. He had received the memo about anyone not loyal to the GF. Anyone not loyal would be put to death. He shuddered at the thought of his sweet wife Tansy being murdered because he made a mistake by confessing his faith to the wrong person.
If he asked Jerome he would have to be very subtle. The question itself could mean life or death for him and his wife.
